Zoning and Planning are the vessels through which Missing Middle Housing (neighborhood scale affordable multifamily) is banned.
Cities that urbanized before #zoning have tons of Missing Middle Housing (NE/MW). Cities that urbanized after zoning have very little of it (Sunbelt).

We had a great time on Saturday touring the Finley Street Cottages project in Edgewood. It’s a great example of how “tiny homes” can be part of the solution to our housing crisis by providing more sustainable and affordable homes
