Proud principal moment this week: When Mr. Butler, the Manager of Educational Programs @rockhall sends students great feedback on a poem writing assignment based on our recent virtual field trip. Thank you for making such a difference in our student’s lives #longliverock
Currently all Google services are down. This includes personal and GSuit options. @YourIndySchools
Parents, check you email. We have assigned 85 devices in the last week. These need a home. If you received an email, but cannot make it during our scheduled pickup, reply with a convient time and we will make accomodations when possible. Not need a device anymore, let us know.
Dr. Frankenstein fixing and rebuilding chromebooks till our shipment arrives. We have rebuilt 60 devices and are working on email families who have requested devices. @YourIndySchools @
#staycuriousCLE thanks for a great experience for our iPride Virtual Academy student this morning. Mr. Andy rocks! Happy Mole Day.

Yes there was a test email sent. It was only sent to a few specific people to look for some errors. Do not panic if you did not receive that email. @YourIndySchools
If you are not receiving emails via Constant Contact, please go to the homepage and signup. If you are signed up, check your spam folder Also, if you are using a work email, their settings might block bulk email. I can look up individual emails, but it will take time.
We are transitioning our district email communication to Constant Contact. Please visit ilsk12.org/ to sign up for district communication.

Sweet
Google Meet getting many new features including backgrounds, 7x7 grid, end meeting, mute all, disable chat, hand raising, whiteboard, and more! blog.google/outreach-initiat… #GSuiteEDU #GoogleEDU #remotelearning #RemoteTeaching
I would add that if you think interactive is suppose to be for teachers, your not thinking kid-centric. Kids need to be creating and leading interaction.
Zoom from the students' perspective. Don't use interactive tools to not interact. youtube.com/watch?v=Ot66nSTs…

Tiled layout, which allows you to see up to 16 students at the same time while in a video meeting, is rolling out in #GoogleMeet. Learn more: goo.gle/34Xg3pm. #DistanceLearning
It is the week before spring break. If you have never tried unique and real-world based learning, what better time than now?!?!? No more AIR tests, the one excuse we could never remove is now gone!!! Give kids control of Place, Path, and Place of their learning.
Not just the new normal for students, admin team models social distancing and continues to #dowork @MrMcGuinnessIHS @tjebert @CoachVanek @IndySuper
As this quarantine continues, we will start to feel the squeeze on replacement devices. Students, be kind to your tech because there are no more devices left in the world 🥺 mobile.edweek.org/c.jsp?cid=…
