in my very humblest opinion😎
🇺🇸🦅 1990 #CHEVROLET #CAMARO IROC-Z
The final year of the #legendary IROC-Z marked the end of an era for Chevrolet's third-generation Camaro, combining #American V8 muscle with a chassis developed for serious performance.
does @elonmusk envision that ai will take his job/s or is he the exception
🚨 Elon Musk has dropped an unprecedented bombshell—right inside the White House, in front of Donald Trump: 💥🇺🇸
“From now on, you will no longer need to work for any company... I will make sure everyone on Earth enjoys a celebrity-level lifestyle and income!”
Musk is completely challenging the traditional concept of government-provided “Universal Basic Income” (UBI) designed merely for survival, presenting a radical vision of a new form of capitalism.
According to Musk, how will everyone become wealthy? 👇
As AI and robots produce goods and services 24/7 without limits, the overall standard of living for all humanity will skyrocket—as if everyone were earning an astronomical salary.
Musk confidently declares: “Everyone will have access to better healthcare than I personally receive!” Through the combination of superintelligent AI and precision surgical robots, top-tier medical care could become available to everyone at virtually no cost.
AI will handle the thinking, while robots build roads and structures, grow crops, and manufacture products. With forced labor becoming a thing of the past, the phrase “I don't have enough money to buy what I need” could disappear from the human vocabulary entirely!
While 99% of humanity worries that “AI will take their jobs,” Musk envisions a future where an army of autonomous robots will turn every single person into a king—living a life of total ease!

Had a little argument with a Tesla fan today and his entire argument was basically:
“Tesla is faster.”
“Tesla can self-drive.”
And I genuinely had to ask:
Since when did we start buying cars because they can drive themselves? 😂
If the only things that matter are acceleration and how much the car can do without you, then we’ve completely missed the point of being a car enthusiast.
I don’t want my car to replace me. I want to drive it. Yes I want to.
Give me the steering feel.
Give me the chassis balance.
Give me the engine note.
Give me the manual gearbox.
Give me the feeling that I am controlling the machine.
Tesla has shown what electric performance and software can do. Respect.🫡
But faster ≠ more exciting.
More technology ≠ more character.
Sometimes the best part of a car is the part you actually have to do yourself.
interesting comment
hadnt considered it
#Jaguar switch to brutalism design presumes itll be better
dont think this style will pass times test imho
Was ist also der tatsächliche Grund?
👍
reminder cars arent like they used to be
Replying to @IsaacMartin68
Me and my buddies all had late model Mustang GTs when they were priced properly.
They were attainable.
not like the original ‘64 #FordMustang ad that listed the price”….$2368 f.o.b …”
yeah that was the standard 6
oh…..you noticed too😂😂
the company is distinguished😎
“future” styling is overrated imho
DO ELECTRIC CARS HAVE TO LOOK SO “ELECTRIC”?
Have you noticed how so many EVs seem determined to tell you they’re electric?
Closed-off grilles. Ultra-thin headlights. Extremely smooth bodywork. Aero wheels. Strange proportions. Futuristic interiors.
But here’s the thing:
I don’t really think none of that is actually required to make a car electric. An electric powertrain doesn’t care whether the car looks futuristic or traditional.
BMW could build an EV that looks like a classic 3 Series. Porsche could build one that looks like a 911. Mercedes could make an electric E-Class that looks almost identical to a petrol one and honestly, we’d rather have that.
I don’t need my car to announce that it’s electric from 100 metres away. Give me a beautiful car first. Tell me it’s electric second. Or maybe the future of EV design isn’t making electric cars look more futuristic, it’s making them look so good that you forget they’re electric.
Would you rather have an EV that looks futuristic, or one that looks like a great traditional car?
a sad state of affairs when people are no longer are willing to open a car door (physical infirmities exceeded)
wonder what the solenoid replacement cost / labor would be
The tech is amazing. And I’m sure the features will be appreciated by those fortunate enough to be riding in the back of a new 7.
But very hard to see anyone preserving one of these cars as a classic in 25+ years as we do with today with the E38. Fixing all the inevitable problems will be catastrophically expensive. It’s also brutally ugly to my eyes!
classic #LeMans line of dialogue
wonder if it was in the #HarryKleiner / #JohnTKelley script or was ad-libed by #SteveMcQueen
imho windows are dare to be different in this era of generic styling
the question that should be posed is whats up with that grille and side intakes
another example of car design that transcends the decades
also aerodynamically refined
when the #Avanti was setting #Bonneville records cars didnt need aero add-ons
may have this right

avoids a cuv look
