NVIDIA silently released the Llama 3.1 70B Instruct Nemotron model which is topping leaderboards. You can try it here: build.nvidia.com/nvidia/llam… I sat down with one of the researchers to learn how it performed so well and why they built this 🤙 Anything else I should ask him?

Woke up today really excited about what the team over at @Joonforkids is cooking up. They're shipping some amazing product. We're hiring for some early roles. DM if you're interested in impacting pediatric health!
Meet Isaac and Joon. Joon is one of the most fascinating companies I've ever come across (and is growing very quickly). It's a video game kids can only beat by winning in real life. And it's working. The implications are fascinating.

I’m excited to announce we’ve raised $6.4M for Joon! In 2021, @kevinbunarjo, @BradBrenner8, and I left our jobs with a scrappy prototype and a drive to learn, while building something we were passionate about.

We couldn't be more driven to scale our platform to provide support to kids who need it, alongside great partners. If working at a growing mission-driven startup like this sounds exciting to you, we’re hiring for key roles: app.dover.io/Joon/careers/14… We'd love to hear from you.

During COVID, there was a spike in official and self-diagnoses for ADHD. A positive community formed around it. It became a point of pride to say “I have ADHD" - which you don't see with things like depression or anxiety. As a founder with ADHD I think there's a few reasons:

We tend to have a higher risk appetite, so we end up doing interesting things in and outside of work. It comes with negatives, like forgetting to text back or being late, not doing your dishes, or having a lot of trouble doing uninteresting tasks (which life is full of).

But, it’s really cool that the culture around ADHD is about community and focusing on the positives. I see a similar thing happening with autism. I wonder what other ‘disorders’ will be emergent in this manner.

Super exciting to have achieved the $1M ARR milestone in the past year building something we love. Couldn't have done this without @kevinbunarjo @BradBrenner8 and the rest of the amazing Joon team. 2023 is going to be 🚀

Almost every b2c company I've invested in has pivoted into b2b. The exceptions? Consumer apps that help kids & parents (also my best performing 👼🏽 investments to date (2 / 50) ).

Looking at something that a normal person would estimate to take two weeks to finish and thinking “I could definitely do this in one day”
