So we had a pet iguana growing up. It was my brothers and he loved that thing. Would feed it lettuce and all sorts of things and let it crawl around the house. But then he told my parents that he thought it seemed lonely and we needed to get another one so it would have a friend

Fun fact Bay leaves have natural antimicrobial and antifungal properties and are typically in so many old recipes because they were a natural preservative. This is also why celery and celery salt is in so many recipes as well.
Do bay leaves actually do anything or are they a scam big spice is perpetuating on us that we need these dry inedible items in our slow cooked dishes? 🧐

This is nothing new. Owners care about the value of the franchise they own. Players care about how much they can/will make. Neither ACTUALLY care about fan experience or competitive balance lol
“The coming labor Armageddon is much more about the owners’ desire to raise their franchise values than it is about competitive balance.” For the pro salary cap people: The owners couldn’t care less about the fans wanting a “competitive balance”, they want to make their pockets deeper. Ken said it perfectly, a salary cap and floor won’t fix a team like the Reds or Pirates. There are other teams being successful with around the same budget or smaller. They aren’t as innovative as those teams though. That’s the problem. Will spending money help some, probably, but it won’t automatically make things better.

Ummm do what now
Ex-#Titans DT Jordan Elliott went to his car to retrieve his gun after a practice altercation with OT JC Latham last Thursday (Oct. 15). After being told to leave the field, Elliott took off his pads and stormed out of the facility, then went to the players' lot. Security cameras captured the sequence. Veteran DL John Franklin-Myers talked him down, and no one was hurt. The Titans released Elliott on Tuesday after reviewing the incident. He signed a 2-year, $8M deal this offseason. News of the incident was first reported by @eastonfreeze and additional details provided by @AaronWilson_NFL.

Maybe because between the Milwaukee Brewers and The Tampa Rays franchises there is a total of ZERO World Series Championships. I’m super glad it looks like it’s working this year but it is very much an outlier historically lol
We’ve spent years talking about the Dodgers payroll, but are we asking the WRONG question? Milwaukee, Tampa Bay, Cleveland… year after year, these organizations find ways to compete without spending like the giants. At what point do big-market teams stop obsessing over analytics and start POACHING the scouts from these organizations? Maybe the biggest competitive advantage in baseball isn’t payroll. It’s knowing how to IDENTIFY TALENT that can compete when the lights are the brightest?..

Honestly the thing we should REALLY be talking about as Braves fans is how crazy it is that the Braves drafted Shea Langeliers, William Contreras, AND Drake Baldwin.

Dodgers having more hard hits against Chris Sale than anyone all season = doing their homework. Brewers doing similar things to the Dodgers = cheating
I knew the Brewers were cheating. Makes perfect sense how every hitter was hitting balls on the button

This would really edgy and funny until you realize the Braves beat the #2 team on this list
The Braves "We will outslug everyone and get AAAA pitchers." R&D staff: "We don't think that's gonna work" Braves: "Vibes in the clubhouse will carry us" R&D: IF you make it to the post season they will out pitch and hit you. Braves: "tHeY wIlL oUtPiTcH yOu" Acuña is cool and that matters!

I know there are more dangerous moves out there, but calling Raylen Wilson "boy" twice and smacking him in the head has to be near the top. Incredible restraint by the Georgia team captain.
