It doesn’t sit well with me that govt of this small island of 3M+ people is going to sit and tell us that countries 10xTimes the size of us with a better overall economy, they are going to use the pay scale of those countries to justify the pay scale of these positions.
This time next year no one will be saying anything bout Narra and it would have done nothing significant asides from spending billions in salaries, rent and benefits.
The PM said it.
“We need to pay more to attract better workers.”
So salaries were increased across the government and public sector.
Yet we’re still seeing the same nonchalant results, across the board.
Now it’s not money it’s the workers. But I think we all know what the problem is.
🧐 Which leader ?
The CEO, SMO, RD, RTD ?????
A government that moves budget - $60B in 2015 to $140B in 2025 - hires 24k workers on staff - gov should also take responsibility for running a hospital and department in a hospital?

Be careful out there peeps
Hello, @JamaicaConstab please stop issuing tickets to motorists turning right out of Sovereign onto Barbican Rd.
These signs are on PRIVATE property, not dissimilar from the sign in the 2nd image indicating no left turn.
There USED to be a sign across the road, facing the exit-

This was Anju in opposition, at that time the sanctity of life was important to him. He complained of persons being killed just because they have a gun and without due process. In govt he ditches those concerns.

A Kingston-based restaurant is dismissing claims of racism following a dress code incident involving a local content creator.
Describing the information online as inaccurate, it said: “Steakhouse on the Veranda is deeply disappointed that a dress code incident on 15 October 2025 has been misrepresented online as racism.”

The withdrawal by the Government of $114 billion from the National Housing Trust (NHT) for non-tax revenue support over the past 10 years, and projections for another $57 billion to be withdrawn over the next five years, is not sitting well with Opposition Leader Mark Golding.
