"that is not political debate. That is antisemitism.”
“When Jewish Canadians are blamed, threatened or intimidated simply because of their identity, that is not political debate. That is antisemitism.”
Douglas Lobel was at the Sons of Jacob synagogue in Belleville when it was attacked on erev Yom Kippur. Today, he testified on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, urging action.

A newborn is always a source of joy, yet, no baby can choose the family into which they are born.
In 2026, being born Jewish carries a dramatically higher risk of targeting by religious hate crimes. Governments cannot shirk their responsibility for a reality they have allowed to persist.
In Canada, if you are born into a Jewish family, you are 240 to 250 times more likely to become the victim of a religiously motivated hate crime than a non-Jewish Canadian. Yes, simply for being born Jewish.
In the UK 100 times more than a non-Jewish.
Troubling statistics. An unacceptable reality.
Words are not enough. Governments bear a fundamental duty to protect all their citizens, including Jewish communities.

Gaza yesterday.
This is Hamas, the terrorist organization behind the October 7 atrocities and massacre.
Anyone who genuinely wants a better future for Palestinians must demand one thing, Hamas must be fully disarmed and dismantled.
They openly vow to repeat October 7th again and again and again, until Israel is destroyed.
No country would accept living next to such a threat, and expecting Israel to do so is disappointing and unacceptable.

A supermarket in Gaza today.
Fully stocked shelves. Awkward footage for those pushing Palestinian propaganda. 🤔
هذا هو سوبرماركت في غزة هذه الأيام
سيكون من المؤسف اذا لم ينتشر هذا الفيديو على نطاق واسع، ولا يفضح الدعاية الفلسطينية بالكامل..

A year after the ceasefire, Palestinian Hamas still refuses to disarm. It steals aid, intimidates Gazans and plans more attacks on Israel.
Hamas cares more about holding on to its weapons and power than rebuilding people’s lives.
Gaza will never have a real future as long as Hamas holds the people of Gaza hostage.

There is a profound divide between Canada’s international standing, highlighted by this week’s joint summit with EU leaders, and the reality faced by its Jewish community.
Jews represent just 1% of Canada's population, yet they are the target of 70% of all hate crimes in the country.
"Never again" cannot remain an empty slogan. It requires action.

Time passes, but October 7 will never fade from our memory.
After surviving 738 days in Hamas captivity, Evyatar David, abducted from the Nova Music Festival, is reclaiming the life Hamas tried to steal from him.
His message is one of extraordinary strength and resilience:
“I will continue to dance.”
Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱❤️

She survived the nightmare of her brother being held hostage by Hamas.
Now Emuna Schreiber is hospitalized after being injured in a Palestinian stone-throwing attack in Samaria.
Yet another example of the ongoing wave of Palestinian violence targeting Israelis.

Emuna Schreiber, the sister of released hostage Avinatan Or, sustained moderate injuries in a car accident near Rehelim Junction in Samaria two days ago, after her vehicle veered off the road as she tried to escape Arabs throwing stones at it.
Schreiber is hospitalized at Beilinson Hospital with spinal fractures and severe injuries. Her family said her life is not in danger and she does not require surgery.

What is happening at MSF, or has it always been this way and we just didn't know?
Sexual exploitation, employees active in terrorist organizations.
It is sad. It is unacceptable for humanitarian organization workers to be involved in such crimes.
Switzerland has frozen CHF 1.25 million in funding for MSF over alleged failures to disclose sexual exploitation allegations in Chad.

Over the past several months, we have been advancing a winterisation plan for Gaza - here is a summary of the measures taken so far:
⛺️ More than 75,000 tents have entered the Gaza Strip through the UN, international organizations, donor countries, and the private sector, including over 5,000 in the past week alone.
🚛 More than 7,500 trucks carrying clothing, blankets, sanitation supplies, and medical equipment have entered the Gaza Strip.
💧 We coordinated the entry of fuel to support the operation of wastewater drainage systems throughout the Gaza Strip.
🔧 We coordinated repairs and maintenance of the water supply network at the request of international organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.
🚚 We approved the entry of 8 sewage tankers for the @ICRC.
💉 We approved the entry of 7,500 doses of tetanus vaccine for @UNICEF.
🏥 We approved the entry of 3 mobile clinics for @IMC_Worldwide.
⛽️ We approved the entry of medical equipment, fuel, and engine oil for hospitals and medical facilities operated by the @UN and international organizations.
We will continue working in cooperation with the @BoardOfPeace, the UN, international organizations, and donor countries to advance winter preparedness efforts and maintain the stability of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, while taking the necessary measures to prevent Hamas from taking control of humanitarian aid and essential supplies intended for the civilian population.

The Commission of Inquiry (COI) report, issued under the auspices of the politicized UN Human Rights Council, is not a human rights report but a propaganda document detached from reality, aimed at undermining Israel’s right to self-defense, delegitimizing the Jewish state, and legitimizing jihadist terrorism against its citizens.
The Commission, which was established in 2021, was flawed from the outset and has targeted Israel exclusively since day one. Its activities are an example of the vast UN resources, funding, and personnel devoted to advancing anti-Israel propaganda.
This false report says far more about the political agenda of the body behind it than it does about Israel.
The fact that the so-called “report” parrots the narrative of terrorist organizations word for word is clear proof of its true nature and motives.
This is the shameful legacy of the UN Secretary-General and the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

How does 🇮🇱 democracy work?
In Israel, every citizen aged 18 and over has the right to vote.
One vote determines which party they support. The results determine how the 120 seats in the Knesset are distributed, which parties enter parliament and who can form a government.
A 3.25% electoral threshold. A parliamentary majority of 61 seats.

Sheep poisoned and left to die.
For the 17th time this year, Palestinian attackers have deliberately targeted livestock in Judea and Samaria in an attempt to harm Jewish shepherds and destroy their livelihoods.
This is calculated cruelty. Poisoning innocent animals to inflict suffering on the people who care for them.
A vicious act of violence. No excuses. No justification.

The Palestinian wave of terror continues.
Two IDF soldiers were murdered this morning in a shooting attack near Judea Junction.
A large-scale Hamas terrorist attack targeting innocent civilians was foiled, as evidenced by the substantial quantities of weapons and ammunition discovered.
Our brave soldiers acted with courage and determination and prevented an even more devastating terrorist attack.
Israeli security forces continue to operate with full force to thwart terrorism and bring those responsible to justice.

Antisemitism in the BBC.
A must-read to realize that the BBC's coverage of the Gaza war wasn't journalism, it was narrative engineering.

🇮🇱🇮🇱 This post is only for those who care about facts and believe that a nation does not forfeit its right to live on its ancestral land simply because of a massacre and ethnic cleansing.
I keep hearing people justify the terror attack today near Hebron under the pretext that Israel is "occupying" the area.
Jews have lived in Hebron since the days of Abraham, over 3,800 years ago.
In 1929, the Arab residents of Hebron massacred the city’s Jewish population.
Seven years later, in 1936, the British Mandate authorities decided to evacuate and remove every survivor left from the Jewish community following the massacre. There is a term for what the British did: ethnic cleansing.
Just 32 years later, in 1968, Jewish residents returned to live in the city.
A nation that was ethnically cleansed from a community where it had lived for 3,800 years cannot be considered an "occupier" when it returns just 32 years later.
And if you’ve made it this far, here are the Main Periods Without a Jewish Presence in Hebron since 1,800bc, 3,800 years ago:
The Babylonian Exile (6th Century BCE) – ~50 to 70 years:
The Crusader Period (1099–1187) – ~88 years:
Modern Era (1936–1968) – ~32 years.
Jews cannot be considered occupiers in Hebron, as they are the indigenous people of the city.
