Great quote from British MP @jessphillips

Every point raised by Yashar is correct and valid. The replies are full of Biden supporters that can offer no evidence that Biden is capable of actually campaigning to win
President Biden, through no fault of his own, is not capable of vigorously campaigning for the presidency. The president cannot handle DAY AFTER DAY of a schedule that includes, but isn鈥檛 limited to: - Four rallies a day in multiple cities and a clutch at each rally. - Multiple tv and print interviews on the same day the rallies above are happening. - A fundraiser or two mixed in on the same day all of the above is happening. People have repeatedly pointed to one off events in recent weeks: a press conference, a rally. Some have pointed to the State of the Union or the Howard Stern interview as evidence that he鈥檚 capable of vigorously campaigning for the presidency. If your strategy is to point to one offs as evidence of vigor you鈥檙e in trouble. Especially events that took place MONTHS ago, you鈥檙e in trouble. The point is the president should be doing this every single day in order to survive politically. He is not capable of it, through no fault of his own. I have seen some suggest that鈥檚 what he has the vice-president for, but that鈥檚 just not true. That does not make for a winning campaign. Vice-President Harris is there to DOUBLE the efforts, not pick up the slack.

I feel like events in US politics over the past couple of weeks has made this website come alive again. Yeah it鈥檚 exposed a lot of the negatives and trolls, but this is a place to find news again.

No doubt Labour is going to win their landslide tonight, but Reform is such a huge story especially considering the UK hadn鈥檛 have been seeing the same rise of right-wing parities like in Europe or the MAGA movement in the US.

Lovely visit to Ally Pally today. Several hundred visits to that hilltop to look out onto the greatest city in the world and it never gets old.

It鈥檚 9pm here in Seattle but already 5am on Friday in the UK which means it鈥檚 time for @elliotdarby to start his month presenting Friday Early Breakfast on @BBCR1! He鈥檚 come a long way from the first time I heard him 7 years ago doing student radio.
