German soldiers stumbled upon the mass graves of over 22,000 Polish POW and civilian detainees, in the spring of 1943 at the site of what has become known as the Katyn Massacre. A group of 12 “independent” individuals were assembled to report to the Katyn Commission as to who was responsible for the mass murder of these innocent Polish nationals. Two of the most influential members of the commission were Bolsheviks Burdenko and Nikolai, who, coincidentally, also signed the official Soviet report on Auschwitz. The Soviets blamed the Germans for this atrocity, but this was a provable lie; the area had been under Soviet control until the German invasion in June 1941. The massacre is estimated to have occurred between early April and mid May, 1940, so… Did the allies know what had happened in Katyn? Who had committed these vile war crimes? Yes. The UK, France and the US all had purposely covered up the Katyn Massacre. Roosevelt. Churchill. Complicit.
