Finding fulfillment will be the hardest problem to solve in an everything-AI world.
Replying to @Jason
AI and robots will replace all jobs.
Working will be optional, like growing your own vegetables, instead of buying them from the store.
Healthy skepticism about new tech is natural, and it pushes us to build more responsibly.
But the progress in AI is real and ongoing.
The goal isn’t to be “pro” or “anti” AI, it’s to make sure these systems are developed safely and used to help people in meaningful ways.
Who said university is about knowledge?
Knowledge expires.
What lasts is discipline, networks, judgment, the ability to think when the data changes.
Very few people are psychologically equipped to confront the reality that this may not, in fact, be a bubble.
€1.1 Billion 🤯
After years of observation, Europe finally goes boldly all in on AI, deciding it might be a thing after all.
The EU just launched a €1.1B “Apply AI” plan to boost artificial intelligence in key industries like health, manufacturing, pharma, and energy.
The goal is simple but ambitious: build European AI independence and reduce reliance on U.S. and Chinese tech.
Europe finally wants to stop buying the future and start building it.
The world if OpenAI releases hats:
The most fulfilled people I know give, share, teach, and serve far more than they take.
Generosity is where true wealth begins.
New features, improvements
The next few weeks are going to be fun.
Over the next few weeks, we are launching some new compute-intensive offerings. Because of the associated costs, some features will initially only be available to Pro subscribers, and some new products will have additional fees.
Our intention remains to drive the cost of intelligence down as aggressively as we can and make our services widely available, and we are confident we will get there over time.
But we also want to learn what's possible when we throw a lot of compute, at today's model costs, at interesting new ideas.
12/12 at ICPC World Finals. By solved count that’s a 1st-place human finish.
Benchmarks were the proving ground, the next frontier is bigger.
1/n
I’m really excited to share that our @OpenAI reasoning system got a perfect score of 12/12 during the 2025 ICPC World Finals, the premier collegiate programming competition where top university teams from around the world solve complex algorithmic problems. This would have placed it first among all human participants. 🥇🥇
Every improvement in Codex makes programming more accessible to more people.
