If I didn't open ANY #Pokemon 30th Celebration & ordered the master set off of @TCGplayer, how much would I spend?
*I took into account pulling this set PERFECTLY MINUS RGB MEWS
I am sure there are people out there saying "I only buy my cards at MSRP!"
Congratulations. If you do... this cost would still be 272 packs x $5.00 = $1,360 (IF YOU PULL EVERY CARD PERFECTLY).
If @poke_rev is any example, you can rip over 1,300 packs and still miss a card.
Picking your spots and buying singles from TCG Player or @eBay or trading or a card show is still the best way to finish the set.
I get that it is fun to rip packs, but do what is best for your collection dollars.

Will you be doing a binder for the 30th anniversary set?
I know you don't do special sets AND you released the other binder on Pokemon Day.
I ran a thought experiment based on a comment I made to @totodile_king.
If I didn't open ANY Chaos Rising (CRI) and ordered the ENTIRE master set off of TCG Player, how much would I spend?
*I took into account pulling this set PERFECTLY. WE ALL KNOW THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN.
So what is the cost if I want to master set CRI from TCP player?
I went and added EVERY card (common, uncommon, rare, reverse holo, EX, Full Art, SIR) to my cart.
The total price, as of 8/10/2026, was $713.56.
