It also has to be said Fermin gets way too much credit and barely gets criticised. He is terrible in possession and makes the wrong decision time after time. He gets the pass because he can shoot the ball but I expect more from a Barcelona starting XI midfielder.

I've literally said it way too many times that Lamine Yamal's brain right now is caliberated to a faster game rhythm, it's not his usual one with which he was a world beater. G/A obsession has sadly corroded his game a lot.

Btw, idk if you noticed that Lamine Yamal chance off Fermin's pass was ridiculously lucky lmfao. Even the pass itself was nearly botched because Bellingham/Cucurella gets a touch, and Fermin's lucky the ball ricochets off his knee and falls straight to Lamine.

Barcelona's best player conventionally was Anthony Gordon btw, only sequence maybe where he could have done better is the one he took a shot with his left but I'd argue even that wasn't a bad decision. Pivotal in Lamine's chance too, a couple other good plays for Raphinha.
