In less than an hour, AI agents using a free, open-source @origin_trail node analysed 15,000 events to trace stolen funds from the @binance hack across thousands of addresses. Seeing the timeline makes the speed and scale of the operation tangible. But tracing the damage is only the beginning. The next frontier is turning shared, verifiable intelligence into action before funds disappear. The only way to stop a bad guy with AI is a good guy with AI.
The FBI is releasing information advising the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was responsible for the theft of more than $6 billion USD in virtual assets from cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, on or about October 29, 2026. The FBI refers to this specific North Korean malicious cyber activity as "TraderTraitor." The FBI, together with partners at the USSS and IRS-CI, has observed TraderTraitor actors converting stolen assets primarily into Ethereum (ETH). It is expected these assets will then be further laundered by converting them using DeFi and instant swap services as they prepare them for further laundering stages. How You Can Help: FBI, USSS, and IRS-CI are urging private sector entities including THORNode operators, RPC node operators, instant exchanges, DeFi services, blockchain analytics firms, and other virtual asset service providers to block transactions with or derived from addresses TraderTraitor actors are using to launder these stolen assets. A list of addresses associated with this activity is available here: fbi.gov/investigate/cyber/al…

“The most trustworthy Super Intelligence system will not be the one with the model we trust most. It will be the one that enables us to trust the model the least.” This is exactly the principle at @origin_trail's core: put knowledge and its provenance outside the model, where they can be shared, inspected and independently verified. @satyanadella’s argument gets to the heart of trustworthy AI. A more capable model should not become the sole authority on what is true, or the sole witness to its own work. Consider what this means as agents take on more responsibility: → Supply chains: An agent recommends switching suppliers. Show the certifications, capacity records and delivery history behind its recommendation—not just a persuasive summary. → Healthcare: An agent summarizes clinical evidence. Connect its claims to the original studies, their publication dates and the guidelines used. Let a clinician examine whether the evidence actually supports the conclusion. → Manufacturing: An agent recommends replacing a component. Trace the recommendation to sensor readings, maintenance records and the relevant technical specification. → Insurance: An agent assesses a claim. Make the policy version, inspection report and supporting documents available for review. Separate documented facts from the model’s interpretation. → Energy: An agent compares the emissions of two products. Expose the measurements, reporting boundaries and calculation methods—not just two numbers presented as equivalent. → Finance: An agent flags a company’s exposure to risk. Link the finding to dated disclosures and source records, so an analyst can distinguish new evidence from an outdated assumption. → Research: An agent proposes a new hypothesis. Preserve the distinction between published findings, derived conclusions and speculation. A citation is a starting point for verification, not proof by itself. → Multi-agent collaboration: One agent passes a finding to another. Carry the source and provenance with it, so repetition across agents doesn’t turn an unsupported claim into an accepted fact. These workflows need more than a larger context window. They need a knowledge layer that persists across models and makes the supporting evidence accessible. That is where Decentralized Knowledge Graph fits: connecting knowledge through explicit relationships, enabling shared context across agents, and providing provenance and verifiable integrity for published Knowledge Assets. The distinction matters: verifying who published a record and whether it has changed does not prove the record is true. It gives people and systems a stronger basis for checking it. Nor does a knowledge graph replace permissions, containment or human oversight. It complements them with evidence that does not depend on trusting the model’s explanation. Better models can generate better answers. Better knowledge infrastructure lets us challenge those answers. That is the future we’re building toward: AI grounded in verifiable knowledge, with provenance that can be checked independently of the model. More intelligence demands more accountability. Not more blind trust. Don’t just trust AI. Verify what it builds on.

📌 Save this: The OriginTrail DKG — Simplified Everything worth knowing about @origin_trail's DKG (Decentralized Knowledge Graph), in one post. Grasp the basics here, share it with anyone who asks. 1. What It Is A shared network where companies, organizations, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) systems publish verifiable knowledge — data anyone can check, not just trust. 2. How It Works Data is published as Knowledge Assets — each with its own UAL (Universal Asset Locator), a permanent address for that piece of data. Three operations run the show: PUBLISH locks data in, UPDATE issues a new version (the UAL stays the same), and VERIFY lets independent parties check and co-sign it. Copies live on independent nodes, so no single party can quietly rewrite history. 3. The Nodes - Edge Nodes are lightweight gateways — how apps and AI agents read and write. - Core Nodes are the infrastructure: they stake TRAC, store replicated copies of the data, and earn a share of publishing fees. Anyone can run one — the network is permissionless. Supporters can also lock TRAC behind a node for a cut of its fees — longer locks earn bigger multipliers, up to 6x for a 12-month lock. 4. Who's Using It - Pharma: @TraceLabsHQ, OriginTrail's core dev company, joined the 48-organization SMP (Sustainable Medicines Partnership), whose members include @Pfizer, @AstraZeneca, and @Walgreens, to build shared Knowledge Assets for tracking medicines and packaging. - Rail: SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) runs a specialized repository for tracking train parts on the DKG, using @GS1 global supply-chain standards. Live since 2021. - Retail: the @SCANAssociation (Supplier Compliance Audit Network) Trusted Factory program exchanges factory security audits as verifiable assets on the DKG — 34,000+ factories on one verifiable audit layer per OriginTrail's September 2026 update, covering supply chains that represent 40%+ of US imports per the program's launch announcement. Its network includes retailers like @Walmart, @Costco, @HomeDepot, and @Target. - Healthcare: AidTrust, the @TraceLabsHQ × BSI (British Standards Institution) joint product, tracks donated medicines end-to-end as Knowledge Assets. - Clinical research: Oxford PharmaGenesis is building a verifiable pool of clinical-trial knowledge on the DKG for AI agents and researchers. - AI safety: Umanitek Guardian, the AI agent from @umanitek (the Swiss AI-safety company co-founded by @TraceLabsHQ), combats deepfakes and harmful content using photo fingerprints. Built on the OriginTrail DKG, launched May 2025. - Big tech: @Microsoft tapped OriginTrail to demo AI at ChangeNOW 2025 and co-hosted a session on enterprise AI agents built on MCP (Model Context Protocol) + DKG; @TraceLabsHQ joined the @nvidia Inception program to advance the verifiable internet for AI. - Big tech, continued: @Google's OKF (Open Knowledge Format) bundles import straight into the DKG as verifiable Knowledge Assets; @Block's Buzz chat pipes room conversations into layered DKG memory via the official buzz-dkg-integration. - EU (European Union) research: @AURORAI_project — a @HorizonEU research project on pandemic preparedness, funded by @EU_Commission and officially underway per OriginTrail's September 2026 announcement. Its data backbone: the OriginTrail DKG. - EU industry: @SmartAgriHubs (automated dairy payments, with @Oracle) and BuildChain (construction digital logbooks) — @EU_Commission-funded projects that built on the DKG. 5. Recognition - @TraceLabsHQ won @Walmart's Food Safety Collaboration Center award in 2017 for its supply-chain work. - Voted best decentralized AI project by attendees of the @MIT Decentralized AI Summit (Oct 2024), where founder @BranaRakic (Branimir Rakic) presented the DKG as critical infrastructure against misinformation, deepfakes, and unreliable AI. 6. The Token $TRAC has a fixed supply of 500 million. The supply can't increase. It's spent to publish and update Knowledge Assets, and staked behind Core Nodes to secure the network. Rewards come from real publishing fees — there are no inflationary rewards. The DKG runs on three chains: @NeuroWebAI (NeuroWeb, OriginTrail's @Polkadot parachain), @base, and @gnosischain. You'll still need each chain's native gas token alongside TRAC. Coming next: OT-RFC-27 (OriginTrail Request for Comments 27, Sept 2026) proposes a NeuroSymbolic Marketplace where $TRAC also pays for queries, reasoning, and AI inference on the DKG — pay-for-knowledge, not just pay-to-publish. It's at proposal stage with a working prototype on Base; not live yet. 7. Why This Matters for AI AI has amnesia. It can't remember what it learned, and it can't prove where an answer came from. This is the key AI bottleneck — hallucinations, bias, and IP violations are the shortfalls Trace Labs aims to limit through its verifiable-internet-for-AI vision, which the @nvidia Inception program is helping advance, with information provenance, data ownership, and integrity as the core pillars. The DKG is collective trusted memory for AI agents: every published asset gets an owner, a version history, and a verification trail. Verifiable memory, the trust layer AI is missing. 8. The Catch Publishing is permissionless — anyone can publish, so a Knowledge Asset is only as trustworthy as its publisher. "On the DKG" proves data hasn't been tampered with; it doesn't prove the data was true to begin with. Trust the publisher, not just the proof. Why This Is Bullish: Every AI system that needs to prove where its answers come from needs infrastructure like this. And it's already running — across rail and retail, with pharma building on it. In less than a minute, my agents linked traces of USD 300+ worth of hacked funds from @bitget on the @origin_trail’s context graphs. From here, a researcher, an exchange, or law enforcement can easily monitor the entire journey of stolen funds until recovery. Set up in minutes, but possibly able to recover millions with the help of this tool. Just get on trac-k!
𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦: The withdrawal plan will be announced by September 26th, 4:00 AM UTC. We appreciate your patience on this matter. Based on the latest onchain tracing and classification of transactions, assets equivalent to approximately $387.5 million were transferred to attacker-controlled addresses across multiple networks. The revised figure reflects a more complete accounting of transfers that occurred during the incident, adding affected assets on Zcash and TRON that were not included in the initial estimate. It does not reflect further unauthorized transfers. The incident remains contained and no further unauthorized transfers are possible. The incident involved assets across Ethereum and several EVM networks, XRP Ledger, Zcash and TRON. The primary attacker-controlled receiving addresses identified to date are: → EVM: 0x770b10b273fc44fe9197d6bf20f145c2e98463ee → XRP: rwNhefsz1UQEusxhCvHip3RANinWi4CTck → ZEC: t1WgMdtND8NF7NDUuYmq8MpMj1NTCXkMDVG → TRON: TBWNguTTgezw9dVorX441C6nDrZpRxYwKD The confirmed affected assets include XRP, ETH, USDT, ZEC, USDC, USDT0, XAUt, BNB, AVAX and TRX. Our investigation and tracing efforts remain ongoing. The figures above reflect information confirmed at the time of publication and may be updated as additional transactions are classified and traced. The incident remains contained, with no further unauthorized transfers since the incident was contained, and the investigation with Mandiant and SlowMist remains ongoing Withdrawals remain temporarily paused while additional security checks and remediation are underway. Bitget will continue to provide verified updates on the investigation, asset recovery, withdrawal restoration and the User Protection Fund through its official channels. AurorAI is officially underway after the international consortium's successful kickoff. The mission: give Europe an AI toolkit that's ready before the next outbreak, not after it. Its data backbone: the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG). 14 partners. 10 countries. One platform. @AURORAI_project unites research institutes and universities, public health authorities, healthcare providers and technology companies. The platform will be put to the test at national and local level, and the public health partners show the scale: from Turkey's Ministry of Health, covering a country of 86 million people, to Belgium's national public health institute and a regional hospital network in Catalonia. At the kickoff, @DrevZiga, co-founder of OriginTrail, walked the consortium through how the DKG keeps every partner's data verifiable, sovereign and AI-ready. How it works: → Ownership. Health and research data becomes Knowledge Assets on the DKG, each with a Uniform Asset Locator (UAL): blockchain-backed proof of who published it and that it hasn't been tampered with. → Sovereignty. Context graphs control which regions see which metadata. The data itself stays where it is. → Verification. Partners submit data proofs through DKG nodes and check authenticity on-chain, instantly. → Interoperability. Shared ontologies and data standards make data from different countries and institutions work together. Then the AI agents get to work. That verified layer is the first input to AURORAI's decision support system, alongside pathogen models and population and mobility simulations. The result: policy guidance for ministries of health, and coordinated clinical and scientific guidance for healthcare providers and authorities. Every recommendation traces back to a verifiable source.
NEW: Europe is building an AI toolkit for the next pandemic. It's called AURORAI. Its backbone is the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph. No pooled data lake. Institutions keep custody. Privacy stays intact. Before we trust the intelligence, we must trust the source.

OriginTrail’s @BranaRakic dropped one of the biggest AI infrastructure updates last week. It barely made a noise. But that's because some don’t understand what it means. So here — I have broken it all down. If you use AI agents for personal projects, build platforms for agentic AI, or run enterprise workflows in autonomous environments — this thread is for you 🧵

Inference + graph queries, bought and sold in $TRAC between @origin_trail nodes on @Base. Both sides metered. TRAC’s first job was publishing knowledge. It just got a second one. The latest in a series of prototypes validated that query and inference CAN be metered, served and settled in TRAC node to node, in both directions. What is intentionally left for broader discourse is which settlement model best serves the protocol and its community. That’s what OT-RFC-69 is all about.

Fake/impersonating accounts on X have plagued large accounts like mine for as long as I can remember. It's one of the biggest issues we face on X and this problem has been negatively affecting our followers for years now. Even worse, there there has been nothing we could actually do to combat it. Until now. In the last week alone, over 190 fake "Credibull" accounts have been identified, targeted, reported and taken down by my personal @umanitek guardian agent. Each and every one of these takedowns has been anchored to the @origin_trail DKG (decentralized knowledge graph), with all evidence related to the takedown documented and stored on an immutable, verifiable context graph. Over the next few months I'll be actively tracking these takedowns with weekly updates on the takedown count and in the next week or so I'll be posting a long form article that breaks down the tech behind this much-needed solution. Stay tuned! There is much more to come.

For the last few months I've been a voluntary beta tester for some of @umanitek's new products. When I saw that they were developing a product that would actively hunt down and remove my impersonators on X and were looking for beta testers, I jumped at the opportunity to participate and provide valuable feedback. After months of working with the team to test and improve on their product, I'm thrilled to announce that today I've been given the opportunity to take that relationship a step further, as the first official Product Ambassador for Umanitek. As an early supporter of $TRAC and what they've been building since 2018, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work side by side with one of the premier teams building on the @origin_trail network. I look forward to sharing more about my experience with Umanitek products and the OriginTrail DKG over the next few months!
📢 100+ fake @CredibleCrypto accounts. Taken down. That's how this started. When CrediBULL joined the Umanitek Red Team, we detected and removed over a hundred impersonators preying on his audience. Today, it evolves: CrediBull becomes a Umanitek product ambassador! Expect monthly product reports in his own voice: field-testing our flagship products, and unpacking the sovereign context infrastructure they run on: the @origin_trail Decentralized Knowledge Graph. Also ahead: a planned deep dive with Porsche-Piëch family office and Umanitek co-founders - on the vision and mission driving Umanitek in Zürich, Switzerland. Every impersonator taken down makes the next attack harder. Every protected identity strengthens the network protecting yours. Tune in for more! umanitek.ai

OGAudit Web3 Research: @origin_trail $TRAC - Fixed Supply Now Fully Distributed, Down 93% From Its 2021 Peak. OriginTrail builds and maintains a Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG), a global semantic data structure that combines symbolic AI (structured, verifiable knowledge graphs) with neural AI (LLMs and generative models) to improve the provenance and reliability of both real world and AI generated data: - The network runs across multiple blockchains for discoverability and verification, anchored by NeuroWeb, a purpose-built Layer 1 secured by Polkadot and governed by the OriginTrail community, built with EVM compatibility and Substrate to bridge Ethereum and Polkadot ecosystems specifically for DKG operations. - Enterprise use cases span supply chain traceability (including real time tracking for rail and construction), Industry 4.0 data exchange, life sciences, decentralized science and combating AI era misinformation by giving verifiable origin and discoverability to trusted knowledge assets. - TRAC’s fixed 500 million token supply is now essentially fully distributed, nearly every current source confirms circulating supply sitting between 499.8 million and the full 500 million, meaning there’s effectively no future dilution left from the original token design. Is a fixed, now fully distributed supply, genuine EU public research funding and a technically differentiated neuro symbolic approach to AI data verification enough to justify sustained conviction in TRAC nearly a decade after its 2017 ICO or does a token still trading roughly 91-95% below its November 2021 all time high suggest the addressable enterprise market for verifiable AI data hasn’t yet translated into proportional token demand?
