I was to plant them until I realized they get carry loads of green scales which affect almost all fruit trees. Quite an easy decision to make between fruits and a flowering tree!

If you want to drive across East Africa in one loop, this is the route I first took in 2024. Five countries, six borders and roughly 4,400 km, starting and ending in Dar es Salaam. The Rwanda–Burundi border is closed, so the loop drops back into Tanzania to get into Burundi.
