✈️This month, JAS Projects coordinated an air charter operation for the airport’s first Antonov AN-124 movement, transporting oversized cargo from Mumbai, India, to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The operation moved 46,153 kg of cargo across 16 packages from Navi Mumbai airport, India to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with the largest package measuring 12.02 m × 2.28 m × 1.20 m. As one of the first specialized cargo operations through a newly established airport, the movement required detailed planning and coordination across all stakeholders. A significant operation, made possible through teamwork and expertise across the project logistics and aviation community. Something exciting is taking shape at JAS Amsterdam! 📦 Installation is now underway for a Parcel Automation System that will bring together automated scanning, weighing, dimensioning, labeling, sorting, and export preparation in one connected workflow. Designed to process up to 2,100 parcels per hour, the new system will create greater speed, accuracy, scalability, and visibility as our parcel operations continue to grow.
