I'm a reader 1st, a collector 2nd. Been immersed in mainstream SFF for over 60 years, scouting for books in places you wouldn't believe, enjoying every minute of the "hunt." These 6 pb stories/authors are new to me, now in my TBR, woot!
two amazing pieces by Sergio @schmidtiglesias on my office wall - they make me smile!
Preordered the new reprint edition of The Eternaut from Fantagraphics. To the handful of greedy af book dealers who jacked up their prices for their used copies from $20+ to over $200 when the Netflix series was released, I say this to you: get nicked you slimy bastards.
A Mershon reprint of Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus by Mrs Shelly c1893 spotted in the wilds today at Allaire State Park #fleamarket
Seeking your appraisal and learned opinions, worth the dealer's $300 asking price?
$2 pick-up. Because, you know, the cover art (1967, jacket design Stanislaw Zagorski)!
