"Most people prefer the certainty of misery to the misery of uncertainty."
— Virginia Satir
The problem:
The certainty of misery doesn't feel like misery in the moment. It feels like stability.

Yesterday, we surveyed non-clients:
“If you passed today, would your family know how to access accounts & your finances?”
No one said yes.
You might have accounts currently that even you don’t know how to access.
61% of people don’t know the login credentials to access their own retirement accounts (Center for Retirement Research).
The life insurance company doesn’t know you’ve passed away.
It’s up to your beneficiaries to call and file a claim.
Do they know which policies you have and with whom?

Addiction is a response to pain, not a moral failing. Punitive approaches worsen outcomes. Compassion is key. #AddictionAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #Compassion

Can you imagine 40 eminent domain lawsuits in your area?
"We need your land for the good of the people"
Whatever side of the aisle you're on, this type of stuff should make you angry.
This quoted post is unavailable.
More of the usual.
Imagine, for a second,
anyone talking down to you
IN PERSON
the way this woman talks to her audience?
Especially if YOU knew
THEY either
A) had never read a book on fiat currency
or
B) were lying to you to support a narrative?

This is one of those moments in life where grateful is not enough of a word to describe how I feel. Thank you Farrah and everyone involved in "The Code" 🌈🥀
"The Code" proudly presents the work of @JenPanepinto, known in the art world as QuantumSpirit, as part of our curated selection of pioneering artists in generative art. This immersive exhibition showcases boundary-pushing works that redefine the intersection of technology and artistic expression.
In her Dubai debut, Jen introduces a fresh perspective to the city's vibrant artistic landscape with her piece, “Plena Noctis,” which captures the profound stillness and infinite possibilities of the midnight hour. Created using cutting-edge techniques, this work stands as a testament to her innovative approach and technical prowess.
In “Plena Noctis,” darkness and light engage in a delicate dance, inviting viewers into a meditative state where contemplation and introspection thrive.
Anyone who hasn't joined in on the conversation or at least listened...
you are missing a good time.

“It seems like there’s a reason you’re saying that…”
This sentence is magic when it comes to getting people to open up.
Don’t sleep on it.
Use it to connect with people.
Let me know how it goes.
