Two weeks ago my mother was diagnosed with her 6th cancer, this time as a tumor in her brain. I am lucky to have been able to spend the last week with her as she goes into hospice care. I will continue to be away for a while so I apologize if I do not respond to those who have/will reach out. Thank you to @paulpetyo and others who have been great sources of help during this time. So much discourse on here recently about trying to squeeze every dollar out of every card comp. Here’s the reality of cards. You make money when you buy cards not when you sell them.

That doesn’t mean you have to take every 60% offer. Know what it’s worth and what you can get for it. I’ve turned down many offers because I knew I could get my price through another channel. I’ve accepted lowballs when I’ve had the card for a while and it’s dead weight.

I’ll give you one reason I VEHEMENTLY disagree. Low end cards sell in volume, there will be more than just one comp. Look at the median to determine price. For low end you should never cherry pick one high or one low sale

Agreed that $8 shipping is too high. But some sellers do it. Which is why it should be factored in on low end cards if it’s that high.
