Past Pupil Visit
We were delighted to welcome back our past pupil Thomas Watt. Thomas is head boy at Laurehill College and he gave an overview of his journey to pupils since leaving Finaghy Primary. An exceptional young man of whom we are very proud!

Despite repeated warnings about the possible consequences, 298 drivers were arrested on suspicion of drink or drug driving during December.
This is 298 people who not only broke the law but chose to disregard the safety of themselves and others. orlo.uk/ztTLz

Spent nearly 40 years on the front line with ā¦@bigkenreidā© This was at Tony Blairās 2007 farewell with ā¦@EamonnMallieā© Big rivals on the breaking story, but a huge friend and colleague away from the studio. Loved the gossip and craic. A top journalist and top man.
.@BBCSpotlightNI was a tough watch tonight but really eye opening into the crises that families with autistic children face. @taramillstv did an incredible job at helping to tell their stories.

90th Celebrations
We were delighted to welcome back some past pupils, staff and multi-generational families to mark our 90th birthday. The pupils from KS2 heard many recollections and memories of what life was like in FPS through the decades!

Good luck to former 1st XV players, James and Harry Pratt. They have both been selected for their respective squads in this yearās Varsity match at Stonex Stadium. They are the first set of brothers to play against each other in 123 fixtures.

Anyone else having trouble paying with contactless or chip+pin with @DanskeBank_UK? Apple Pay transaction declined, contactless declined, chip and pin declined but no issue with funds in the account.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of David McCallum and privileged that CBS was his home for so many years.Ā David was a gifted actor and author, and beloved by many around the world. He led an incredible life, and his legacy will forever live on through his family and the countless hours on film and television that will never go away.Ā We will miss his warmth and endearing sense of humor that lit up any room or soundstage he stepped onto, as well as the brilliant stories he often shared from a life well-lived. Our hearts go out to his wife Katherine and his entire family, and all those who knew and loved David.

David McCallum made every moment count, in life and on set. Letās raise a jug and celebrate a funny fantastic authentic man. Iāve only got 3 autographs. Connery, Tony Bennett and McCallum. I felt the same way as Steve McQueen in this picture from The Great Escape: Wow! Itās David McCallum! No one did it better. We were lucky to have him bring us Ducky. Letās send all the love in the world to his beautiful family. Rest In Peace David.
Thanks to @British_Airways for cancelling our 09:50 flight tomorrow to Heathrow with 16 hours notice.
Thereās still seats on the 06:40 flight, but theyāve helpfully rescheduled us on to the 16:50 flight. Which is going to London City.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Roger Williamson at the 1973 Zandvoort Grand Prix.
The incident will forever be remembered for the actions of fellow F1 driver David Purley who stopped his car mid-race to try, ultimately in vain, to rescue Williamson from the burning car.
Purley received the George Medal for his bravery.
