Make a ‘Kindset’ your new ‘mindset’
Be kind to yourself
Be kind to others
Be kind to the planet.
We have worked with this for over two years. It’s about balance and living a kinder, happier life.

The #rangers today (11-6-24) have identified a Ringed Plovers nest at the 'blowout' at @ntsandscalehaws To help this rare, resident breeding bird please avoid going into the area for the next 30 days to give the birds every chance to raise their young. Thank You for your support
I hope you are all well this morning!

It was great for the team to be invited along to the official event to mark the start of the work on the Promenade and Phase 1 of the restoration of Grange Lido. Not only does it shows the level of support for the reinstatement of the pool but also for our team at #savegrangelido
The work to raise the funding to carry straight on with Phase 2 is our priority.

And we’re off! Armbands on, floats at the ready... first one to the deep end gets a medal 🏅 Give @savegrangelido a year or two & we’ll be swimming in the open air, under that big Morecambe Bay sky ❤️

Very proud of everyone who has made this happen after 30 long years. The local community, the @savegrangelido group, the district and town councillors in Grange and the Council leadership… all of you deserve huge credit. A great day!

Love this! The Guardian view on swimming pools : a public good for everyone!
@savegrangelido is so much more than just a swimming pool.
It’s a wonderful piece of #artdeco architecture that will be brought back to life for all to enjoy #swimming #heritage #lido #savegrangelido – at Grange-over-Sands, England
Great to see #savegrangelido as the choice of photo for this editorial in the @guardian

Can you help us find out who fly-tipped these 20 bags of old loft insulation at Low Fellside Car Park #Kendal? Have you seen a contractor taking this much material from a property near you, possibly in the Kendal area?
If you can help, please email [email protected]

It’s great news, we are working with @SouthLakelandDC to bring the pool back to life. Only last week we had two meetings on site with them. One with funders and the second with leisure industry experts. Conversations definitely focussed on #swimming!!

Remember this
Mrs Obama said, “Success isn't about how much money you make; it's about the difference you make in people's lives.” “When someone is cruel or acts like a bully, you don't stoop to their level. No, our motto is, when they go low, we go high,”

Fantastic news for the community and @savegrangelido
One step closer to the pool reinstatement, all we need to do now is focus on the funding! The last of our four conditions to make it happen.

Costing almost seven million pounds the project will see will see the lido in Grange-over-Sands open again with a temporary infill to the pool to create a new public space.
