We could begin by demanding racist cartoonists like Spooner are not publicly lauded. Apparently he has works in the National Gallery of Australia, VIC, VIC State Library etc. In this country, racism builds careers. Which public institutions are platforming & amplifying him?

I agree, I missed the comments which may have said this, but it is possible to write as an academic theologian (after all, Christians do it all the time) or academic believer, and I think it's good to build it up as an "acceptable" approach for Islam also

"As I write, I try to remember when the word racism ceased to be the term which best expressed for me exploitation of black people and other people of color in this society and when I began to understand that the most useful term was white supremacy". (hooks, 1989, p. 112)
