This is real sadness. Like what you’d expect to see from him if affordable housing were built in his neighborhood. – at Portland, OR
Bucks fans:
“And at guard from Milwaukee…”
Tyler Herro once again the final starter announced in his hometown #Bucks
Ty Jerome is 29. If he keeps this up he will win MIP in a runaway - he would be the second-oldest winner of the award. The oldest: the Magic’s Darrell Armstrong, who won at age 30 in 1998-99.

I think we can wrap this up lol
Jaylen Brown's response to Jayson Tatum saying there's no beef:
"He got a great PR team. There's no beef but there might be a little lamb chops with some gravy."

Ty Jerome is the early MIP favorite. While he won’t average 36.5 PPG all year, he has been a borderline 50-40-90 guy in limited games/minutes for 3 straight seasons and it shouldn’t shock anyone that he’s going off now that he’s got the keys. Could see him being an all-star.
Maybe having three guys who can point guard start is helping the Blazers in one way. Only 9 turnovers tonight, the Blazers’ fewest in a regular season game since Jan 2 against the Pels - Blazers led the league at 17.2 a game in 2025-26.
The proof of concept for the Dame/Ja/Deni fit was clear in game one:
- Ja functions as point guard, but strictly pass-first, and hustles hard
- Dame plays off ball much more
- Deni focuses on efficiency over volume, recommits to defense
Everyone sacrifices some and adds some.
And on Deni - I know fans of every star player or their team will try to tell you “he’s actually a good defender!” even when it’s, say, Zach Lavine. But nah, Deni consistently got assignments guarding stars til last season and has clinched numerous games on the defensive end.
xitter.cf/blazersforreal/status/… And this had me weak in the knees 😭 I respect that Ja takes his ongoing image rehab seriously and likely won’t do things like the grenade celly anymore, but his sense of humor and exuberance are nonetheless contagious already

The @trailblazers are the only NBA team in the last 25 years with a 20-0 or better run to open a season.
