Despite trying to disguise himself as a “moderate” these are the real @KenBlockRI supporters.

You get he truth not some clown who can’t figure out what sex he is.
This is the kind of politics we get from @KenBlockRI’s supporters.
Ken Block: the choice of #MAGA for #RhodeIsland governor.
It’s just like how @VicMellorForRI wants to represent #RhodeIsland. Live in Florida, work in DC and only occasionally visit the Ocean Stare.
To all #RhodeIsland voters, beware of candidates for the state’s top legal position that threaten to sue people because of what they say or write. @AlanGordonRI is an authoritarian that would clearly use the law to silence those that dare criticize him.
Now encouraging people to vote is “manipulation.” These people really hate our democracy. They want to take us back to poll taxes and literature tests.
There’s a significant policy difference between rent control and rent stabilization. Rhode Island’s leading journalists, including @TedNesi, should help explain the differences, not conflate the two.

This argument is so 2012. Feel free to die on this hill, but the rest of the real world cares about gas, housing and health care costs.
➡️ Mayor-elect decides to not attend a parade.
➡️ Parade goes on as it has for decades
➡️ Mayor-elect’s opponents cry discrimination
Make it make sense
Socialists are so blatant we have only ourselves to blame if we don't recognize their dishonest use of language. Great example: Morales's "A Providence for All" slogan. "For all" means you don't count if he thinks you were previously privileged. "For all" means replacing some people with the people he (dishonestly) thinks were previously excluded.
This is barely an inference and almost directly an observation.
Ken Block is an ideological Republican. He’s clearly indicated that he doesn’t care about things Democrats thing are vital - like abortion access - and will only lead on things conservatives prioritize- like tax cuts for the wealthy and reducing regulations on corporations.
It's my birthday today. My message to you is:
Parties do not solve problems. They never have, and they never will. Ideology does not solve problems. It never has, and it never will.
Only people solve problems. Only someone who can think, reason, convince, cajole, and communicate can drive major change within government organizations.
Fewer and fewer people still vote by party here in RI because the bridge broke our politics.
Use your brain. I played a major role in eliminating the Master Lever, a ballot mechanism that let voters vote for a party.
Stop voting like the Master Lever still makes any sense.
It’ll be interesting to see if the work to change the electorate at the local level changes how legislators operate. Or will it continue to be business as usual on Smith Hill?

Absolutely insane turnout machine. It becomes even more clear when you look at the council races in Wards 4, 5, and 12. Each of these had multiple candidates (sometimes the same exact ones) running in 2022, which was also a 3 way mayor's race.
Everyone knows full well that Mayor Mamdani's political opponents would criticize him just as much if he said nothing - or said anything. There are a group of people with a loud microphone that are simply anti-Mamdani. Nothing he says or does will change that.
Conservatives from all political parties made the same mistake after Mamdani was elected in New York. With expectations so low, basic competence will be enough to be deemed a success. And anyone obstructing what is good for Providence will be the ones punished by voters.
There are essentially two Republican candidates the #RhodeIsland governor’s race - Guckian and Block. The only question is whether either of them will drop out.
Ken makes the case clearly.
I respect the idea that candidates want to stay in the race. After all, they have worked hard to get this far.
The truth is this- if @GuckianRI cares deeply about good government, impactful change and his ability to influence the future of policy he should consider dropping out and fully supporting Ken.
I know this is a huge ask and I expect resistance and defiance. Honesty requires a willingness to act on the truth we find.
What matters most? Is it just running or is it changing society?
Either way, Ken has the best chance at winning this election and creating the change we need.
