🚨In December 2022, Ilhan Omar traveled to Somalia and met with its leaders.
According to the Republic of Somaliland’s former Minister of Information, she shared classified details from a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting.
She served on that same committee and pressed Somalian leaders to act against Somaliland before relations between the Republic of Somaliland and the United States grows stronger.
Months later on 6 February 2023, the Las Anod conflict erupted. Hundreds were killed and thousands displaced in a move that sought to destabilize Somaliland -but failed.

The same company also run a daycare that’s gotten $4.2 million and are attached to a Somali mall that has businesses that send money overseas
Their daycare is called Taaj Day Care Center, it’s an adult day care service provider that’s been reimbursed more than $4.2 million through Medicaid
This same owner also received a $10,000 SBA Targeted EIDL Advanc , which was the COVID-era Economic Injury Disaster Loan grant

Laken Riley had a Garmin smartwatch on when she was attacked.
Her heart rate jumped to 170 bpm which told investigators that was when she was being attacked.
It lasted for 17 minutes then suddenly stopped - that's when the animal finally killed her.

Federal court records identify Ilhan Omar as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” When she was asked twice whether she is related to the man she married in 2009, she answered, “Not to my knowledge.”
Ilhan Omar has not been charged with a crime, and due process matters. But transparency does not require a court order. She should release her immigration file and give Minnesotans a complete explanation of the names and records at the center of this investigation.
Minnesotans deserve accountability, integrity and service from their representative.
