#Commanders Training Camp Day 2 notes, per @john_keim: • Defense is ahead of the offense through two days (completely normal as offense is still learning new concepts, timing, rhythm, etc) • Odafe Oweh has been one of the biggest standouts with noticeable speed, explosiveness, pressure. • Keim notes Frankie Luvu as a strong bounce-back candidate, notes Luvu will be used properly this season and to his strengths. • Luvu will return to being a true blitzing linebacker where he is most dangerous. • Offense (not just WRs) had too many drops, believes it’s an overall offensive execution issue. • Washington continues to monitor Stefon Diggs. Keim believes Diggs is the only available WR that makes sense for the team. • Running back room competition will be one of the most interesting camp battles. Robert Henry Jr is a name to watch. • Keim reminds us that many of the roster battles can’t be fully evaluated/decided until pads come on and during preseason games.
