First minutes in almost 2 years last night, felt so good to be back out there ππΌππΌ
Been a long time out recovering from my ACL, but being able to work closely with Liam to get me back playing was a no brainer. Looking forward to the season ahead! Canβt believe theyβve done me dirty with the AI pic though π€£
π NEW SIGNING π
Bringing a wealth of experience to the Hornets is James Watling, who joins Debenham LC FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
A multiple Senior League title winner with Henley, Watty arrives with a proven track record of success. Calm in possession, dependable under pressure and an outstanding footballer, he adds real quality, leadership and experience to the squad.
Having players who know what it takes to win is invaluable, and Watty's influence both on and off the pitch will be a huge asset throughout the season.
Welcome to the Hornets, Watty. ππ€
Hard work starts now πͺπΌ
Our Watty @JDWatling has finally had his surgery today, a full ACL and partial Miniscus reconstruction, after an injury sustained early last season at home to @Cops_FC. I'm sure you'll join us in wishing him a full and speedy recovery
Not being able to play football is shit, the next 6 weeks waiting for this scan is gonna be longggg π«
