Some players come through Iowa City, wear the black and gold, and leave a lasting impression that goes far beyond what they accomplished on the football field. Jack Campbell is one of those players. I absolutely loved watching Jack play at Iowa. His toughness, leadership, humility, and the way he carried himself made him everything you could ask for in a Hawkeye. But football is just a game. The person wearing the jersey will always matter more. As an Iowa fan, my thoughts are with Jack and his family. Whatever challenges he's facing, I hope he knows just how many people back in Hawkeye country are pulling for him. Once a Hawkeye, always a Hawkeye. We're behind you, Jack. 🖤💛 – at Byron, MN
