Destroy all monsters remastered is a fun game, but damn, they really should’ve combined it with STE or something. It’s so content dry and a grind to get everything
Or, hear me out, in the showa era, special effect weren’t at a point where they couldn’t make Ghidorah look super menacing because Godzilla never looks scary in Showa except for the original either.
Ghidorah was always a nefarious monster. His movies show that beautifully.
I think the monsterverse kinda made people forget that monster vs monster wasn’t always fast and full of wrestling moves.
The minus movies are trying to be more grounded in reality than other Godzilla properties, so the fight felt visceral and slow because these are two hulking
beasts who move like it.
I wish it were slightly longer, but I can’t really be mad with how they did it cause it felt thematic and climactic.
