From Dynamite last night, let me say this and you can dogpilie, priv qt, sneak diss or cry all you want as if that ever mattered to me: Chris Jericho has been an asset in AEW this year. I thought he cut a great promo last night, putting over how Nick Wayne is the future of the industry. Listen, you don't have to like his work, yes he isn't great anymore, I have no qualms about that but he's been better than the tryhard slander some of you are *still* pretending to do in 2026. He's had solid matches with Ricochet and Ciampa, brought the Cruise back on TV when he doesn't have to and got Nick Wayne over in rapid succession. There are far worse talent in wrestling, AEW included. He might not do it how you exactly want it but he puts over the company and talent way more than certain others that get passes because "they're my favs". Yes, Jericho in 2023/4 was bad, real bad, but he can still provide positives where necessary. He's a legend and was great in his prime and I'm not about to switch up just because people wanna join in and repeat the 900th "baby mama built" joke to seek attention. Jericho has been good at best and inconsequential at worst, it's okay to give him credit when it's objectively warranted. Whether you agree with me or not, at least speak from your words.
