#NQ significant improvements in the 6-9 automated strat healthier and smoother cumulative-profit curve no huge drawdowns (even if i still need to get it down a bit) good profit factor and win rate added BE functions 2 additional TPs including 1.33 1.66 projections to compound profits in volatile days dynamic stop loss to tighten as price moves in your direction (confirmation based) new entry trigger based on 5M time frame time-based trade window still need to fix detection of trend sessions to cut more losing trades and limit them, but overall seems solid i will start forward testing it on a live account soon, maybe even prop accounts
#NQ 6-9 Mean reversion strategy bot cooking need to make some optimisations work on the risk parameters and detection of trend days (since it's a mean reversion strategy) which takes a big part of the WR%. it tested this since 2010. but doesn't stop the net profit curve to be huge, winners are huge depending on what entry/target parameters you choose. it's very close to being finalised, trend day detection will make significant performance changes. it will have custom parameters: -risk size -custom time ranges/sessions -custom entry/targets (based on my 6-9 framework) one step closer to being FULLY automated

Holy Shaizen this space has become a circus. Remember 70-80% of these “influencers” are kids, some not even old enough to order a beer at the bar in some countries, just like half of the “traders” you see here. Think about this when seeing them in your timeline. All I see is crocodile tears (go google that)

While people complain about trading view and their latest fuckery. I’m about to finish porting my indicator studies to sierra chart while having a full library on ninjatrader and Motivewave already Was a matter of time given the latest dynamics of the trading space Considering the tradingview prices compared to all those platforms and what it provides, it’s just mind blowing. Having spent a decent amount of $$ on them myself, makes no sense.

#NQ_F again today fumbled the pico top short entry at range open, sometimes it be like that managed to get on the train in the continuation and a long at the 1.33 1.66 for the retracement

#NQ_F If you are not able to figure out the market state and when is likely to "chop", there most likely is a lack of adequate tooling or analysis. stop blaming the market, its not the market fault you should be able to adjust and evolve in any situation

Few years passed by, and I’m genuinely happy to see more and more people recently (even if some use it/teaches it secretly or behind a paywall) applying it/building on/inspired by the simple 6-9 range framework. What started as a mechanism to simplify my trading session, went on to become something very useful (at least for the small niche of range traders) and inspiring to many, that branched into various other strategies you see now. Little did we know back then #NQ_F #Futures

Eventually you’ll figure out that statistical-based studies providers with studies such as IB or gap fills and so on, are basically cash-grabs. Essentially you’re paying a monthly sub to be misled In the era of AI, you’re a prompt away to do that yourself

#NQ_F beautiful price action past 10am few scalps at the open back and forth from EVrange to EQ two Ls trying to catch the falling knife on the pullback back to the highs same framework when having a big 6-9 range > long/short the EQ

#NQ_F confluence of decent levels and a statistical frame work - range double break expectancy (in value/in range) - overnight H/L - am vol expected range context - location - confirmation

People catching up on pre market range mean reversions on #NQ_F Range size matters Balanced - imbalanced overnight matters Almost any time window between 5am and 9am will behave similarly, that’s not a wheel rediscovery Small ranges with high double break % > skewed data, most of it isn’t applicable as edge ~45% of pre market ranges do Infact single break during AM Don’t be surprised if your breakout isn’t failing

“IB stats have been performing poorly recently” There was never sustainable edge, whatever edgeful post you see about is “curve fit” or not enough data sample Don’t be fooled by it
