This is a gut punch of a game for me. After 20 years of Jets fandom, I switched to the Dolphins in 2020 to cheer for Tua. At my son's request, I reluctantly switched back to the Jets following his release--in large part because I was so negative about Aaron Glenn.

A broad AI “kill switch” mandate risks too much for those relying on open-source technology -- but New York can get AI safety right without making it harder for startups to build & innovate, AIN Exec Director @JKudon argues in the @timesunion: timesunion.com/opinion/artic…
PSA: DEFCON 1 is "launch missiles" while DEFCON 5 is peace. The worse the situation, the lower the DEFCON level.
Tua NEVER played this badly over a 5 game stretch. And for the haters, his OL was among the worst in the NFL during his tenure with McDaniel, Waddle always had the drops, and Tyreek missed large parts of 2 seasons.
Listening to telecast talk about changes McDaniel made to Herbert's footwork reminds me of a viral clip when McDaniel joked about how "shit" Tua's footwork was in high school. I recall thinking, "You know he was the #1 dual threat QB - is it possible that you have it wrong?"
Bama may have lost the game, but KDB has finally earned the respect of the Tide faithful. #RollTide
Deep sigh. You miss a call like that and you shouldn’t get to work a game for the remainder of the season
Russell Martin's delicate style of football has no place in League One. If there was ever a time to fire Rudkin it's now - he is literally costing ownership anywhere from 25 to 100 million pounds on the sales price. #LCFC

An astroturf backlash to legal and regulated OSB - which generates billions in tax revenue for states - is an insult to the 50 million Americans who participate in the activity
This is a tough watch - penalties, reviews, and terrible broadcast. And now our first INT in 21 games reversed on a phantom penalty.
Fun fact: @UniversityofIl is also where @pmarca and a group of students invented the web browser (Mosaic) and revolutionized the Internet
AI is giving students new ways to learn and educators more time to teach.
Built by a University of Illinois student, “Illinois Chat” uses course materials to help students work through questions while freeing teaching assistants to focus on more complex assignments and the students who need their expertise most. wandtv.com/2026/09/22/univer…
Deep sigh. Cities have legal authority over data centers because they are buildings subject to local zoning, permitting, and land use laws. Absent express authority in state law (e.g., Louisiana) a city can no more block OSB or iGaming than they can authorize it.
What can the fight against sports betting potentially learn from the data center revolt?
Local control over technology is a worthwhile struggle. State policymakers don’t get to dictate.
Cities and towns could wrest power away from their state to locally geoblock state-licensed apps if residents wish to.
And the Kudon jinx strikes for the 114th time. And here's the thing--it NEVER works in the reverse. Trust me, I've tried.
