Do you like Garbage Pail Kids?
I love them. I am one of the world's largest collectors of Garbage Pail Kids for over 20 years. I have sets from around the world. To me they bring back that nostalgia from 3rd grade.
When I was in college I created my own version, but relating to my life's environment in my teens & early 20s.
I spent years creating these in Adobe Illustrator. They are 99% vectors (created by layered shapes stacked on top of each other)
When I found NFTs I created even better versions of artwork to continue the series.
This is how Junkyard Junkies was born.

imagine buying an NFT because you love the artwork, then discovering the artist has been creating pieces for years without much attention.
you start collecting more of their work.
you share it with friends. Eventually, other collectors begin paying attention too.
nothing about the original artwork changed.
someone simply helped the right people discover it.
sometimes, an artist’s first real collector is more important than their first big sale.
