Well, I wasn't expecting another full-distance IRONMAN to be announced for 2027! 😅
But I said I'm doing ALL of them, so I guess I'm heading to MONTANA! 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
Officially registered for the inaugural IRONMAN Montana, August 15, 2027!
The 2027 Sweep is coming together! Here's what's already on the calendar:
✅ IRONMAN Texas — April
✅ IRONMAN Jacksonville - May
✅ IRONMAN Lake Placid — July
✅ IRONMAN Montana — August
✅ IRONMAN Maryland — September
And there are still more to come!
The goal: Every full-distance IRONMAN in the United States. One calendar year.
MOVE. Any Way You See Fit. 💪
❤️ Want to support my 2027 Sweep? Donations to my IRONMAN Foundation fundraiser are greatly appreciated!

I need your help! ❤️
Yesterday, I officially announced my 2027 IRONMAN Sweep Challenge, an attempt to complete every full-distance IRONMAN race in the United States in a single year. 💪
Six months from now, that journey begins at IRONMAN Texas. 📅
I've committed the next six months to preparing my mind and body. I've invested in a van to travel between races, started registering for events, and reorganized my life around making this dream a reality. 🙌
But there's one part of this journey I can't accomplish alone. 👟
IRONMAN Texas is already sold out, and my entry is through the IRONMAN Foundation's fundraising program. I've committed to raising $4,050 for the Foundation, and meeting that commitment is essential to securing my place at the starting line. 🏁
Asking for help doesn't come naturally to me. But this challenge is bigger than me, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support. 💵
Whether it's $5, $25, or simply sharing this post, every bit of support means something. ✨

Thank you for being part of this journey!

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared.
Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

Slow running is the connective tissue of training.
A good routine has a few hard workouts, more moderate workouts & plenty of easy to tie it all together.
Walking, shuffling, jogging, whatever it looks like. That’s how you recover & absorb the big days and make it all work.

To whom it may concern,
Medicine needs to stop glorifying 24-hour workdays and 80-hour work weeks.
They compromise a physician's health.
Sleep-deprived physicians are more prone to error which compromises patient care.
Medicine needs to evolve by letting go of outdated rites of passage.
