Side sleep is how the brain takes the trash out.
Andrew Huberman told Steven Bartlett that waste gets rinsed from the brain at night. Miss the rinse and you feel it. You also see it. One bad night and fluid sits under the eyes. Two decent nights and the same face settles. That puff is lymph and leftover junk that never left.
The position helps a little: on your side, head slightly raised. They used to think a slight inversion did it. Now it is elevation.
The body can pump lymph when you move. One-way valves run from the feet up. Walk, shake the stiffness out, stand. The brain cannot do that while you are awake, so sleep opens a little extra space and lets the wash run out. Some of it shows up around the eyes. Some of it, he says, even leaves through the nose.
The tapping looks silly. Movement is the point. Night does the deep rinse. Morning only finishes it if you get up.

Don’t let Satan make you doubt. He’s good at that. Doubt creates uncertainties in your heart & mind. It makes you feel uneasy & directionless. You need to anchor your faith firmly & take control of your life. The Almighty is always there to steady you & get you back on track.
