That’s how I spent my summer vacations. I ended up with a job in the public library.
When I was a kid my favorite thing to do was reading encyclopedias. I was about as irritating as a person could be.

In a sign of how distrust of the federal government has permeated Republican politics in the Trump era, GOP officials in three red states have tried to block the Justice Department from engaging in its decades-long practice of sending observers into polling places. nbcnews.com/politics/2024-el… via @nbcnews

During the Renaissance, people in Venice would vote by dropping little balls into an urn. The Italian word for “little ball” is ‘ballotta.’ Now any kind of secret voting, by ball, piece of paper, or voting machine, is called a ‘ballot.’

The 2018 John Mulaney “Horse In A Hospital” bit is still so great 😂 Best part is he doesn’t mention the name Trump at all. Oh America, you finally removed the horse from the hospital. DO NOT let it back in 😬

The FBI is knocking down two fake videos circulating online claiming that the FBI issued warnings about terrorist threats at polling sites and reports of voting in swing state prisons were fabricated, the agency said in a statement. 1: The first is a fabricated newsclip purporting to be a terrorist warning issued by the FBI. The fabricated newsclip reports falsely that the FBI purportedly stated that Americans should ‘vote remotely’ due to a high terror threat at polling stations. This video is not authentic and does not accurately represent the current threat posture or polling location safety,” the FBI said in a statement.
