Four years of work led to this night.
@RileyTopping and I launched Draw the Line in Ohio at @PoliticsProse with @LACaldwellDC, surrounded by family and friends, including many who traveled to D.C. just to be there.
Hard to put into words how special this was.
Grateful! 📕
Great that this morning with @FitzFox5DC on @fox5dc about gerrymandering right before the midterms.
Draw the Line in Ohio exposes what happens when elected officials don’t trust voters to vote for them based on policy preferences alone and rig the maps to ensure victory.
See everyone this morning!
Tomorrow morning on @Fox5DC’s #OnTheHill our guests include Rep. Johnny Olszewski, Ukraine Embassy Charge d'affaires Denys Sienik and political journalist Josh Rultenberg. Sunday at 8:30 AM. #FoxLocal
Friday night in a bookstore… you know you’re in good company.
Great conversations with fellow bookworms, copies to sign, and our book in the window. Pretty special.
Thanks to @BNBuzz on F St and everyone who stopped by for Draw the Line in Ohio!

Wrote a whole book explaining it: us.amazon.com/Draw-Line-Ohio…
We have no shortage of problems and deserve a say in who solves them. Instead, politicians draw maps to protect their jobs. They choose their voters, then call it an election.

After reading your book and watching that ad, my opinion of Ohio is quite low at the moment.

Always pay attention to what's happening in Ohio, folks. It's the nation's testing ground, for restaurants, retail, & politics - if it works in Ohio it will work anywhere. The saying "so goes Ohio, so goes the nation" is a thing for a reason. @JRultenberg and I elaborate on this in our recent book, Draw the Line in Ohio.
“Republicans could lose seats Trump won by double digits. But in that scenario, Republicans would be unlikely to blame their losses on redistricting.”
This @axios article never using the word gerrymandering is wild.
People need to see it to understand!

Terminate gerrymandering!
In Draw the Line in Ohio, we write about @Schwarzenegger bringing that energy to the fight for fair maps.
Pretty special to stand alongside someone who has championed this cause and endorsed our book.
Thank you for your support, Governor!
Back where it all started.
I’m heading home to @TempleUniv to talk about Draw the Line in Ohio. This is the place that shaped me and I can’t wait to share the story behind the book with the people who helped me get there. Hope to see you there.

Fighting fire with fire won’t fix #gerrymandering. It burns the whole house down.
I spoke with @SpectrumNews1OH @Harri_Leigh about Ohio’s congressional maps and why voters’ rights remain at stake, regardless of which party “wins” the midterms.

#NEW: Professor Christian Grose (@christiangrose) has launched the Democracy and Fair Elections Lab at USC.
The lab will focus on nonpartisan, evidence-based quantitative analysis of redistricting, election administration, voting rights, and democratic representation. Check it out here: @uscdfelab.

Gerrymandering’s real stakes: voters’ voices.
@RileyTopping and I joined @amritsingh on @SpecNews1SoCal to discuss what Ohio’s fight over fair maps reveals about America.
📖 Draw the Line in Ohio
There should never be a time where we are celebrating suppressing the rights of voters.
Spoke on that and more with @politico @melmason.

ICYMI, on last week's @ReaganCaucusAct Podcast, we talked to legal analyst @RileyTopping, co-author of Draw the Line in Ohio, about the midterm elections, gerrymandering, and the possibility of a viable third party.
