My name is Janice
I have intractable pain that began with an accident. I have underlying incurable diseases. I take opioids to improve my pain so I can have QOL.
Opioids are safe & effective when taken as prescribed. I am not an addict. Addiction & Dependence aren't the same.
LMFAO 😂

The funny part is saying you “don’t understand” same sex relationships implies you *do* understand every heterosexual relationship, and…I mean, really? Does anyone really “understand” how someone willingly spawned with Stephen Miller, for instance?

JD Vance lecturing us about corruption is laughable.
He says Trump rejects people getting rich off government connections—while Trumpworld reeks of self-dealing, pay-to-play politics, family profiteering & convicted fraudsters.
Corruption isn’t a bug. It’s their business model.

I will always defend patients who benefit from opioids for chronic pain.
I wouldn't be here if I hadn't had access to them in the past. I likely would have taken my life by now.
This isn't a competition.
Use what works best for you.
The chronic pain community cannot afford a hierarchy of suffering.
Some patients manage their pain without prescription opioids.
Others rely on non-opioid medications, procedures, physical therapy, or a combination of treatments.
And some of us depend on full agonist opioid therapy to maintain a meaningful quality of life.
I will never apologize for defending access to full agonist opioids when they are medically appropriate.
But here’s what I won’t do:
diminish another patient’s treatment to defend my own.
We do not need to agree on treatment to stand together on patient autonomy.
The enemy isn’t the patient who chooses a different path.
It’s the stigma, the blanket policies, the fear-driven decision-making, and the erosion of individualized pain care.
We have enough people questioning our suffering without doing it to each other.
Your relief does not invalidate mine.
My medication does not threaten your recovery.
And none of us should have to prove that our way of surviving is morally superior.
Different treatments.
Different bodies.
One community.
That’s how we fight for all of us.

I am often asked: "Lelena, why do you ALWAYS mention opioids for pain? Do you think they are the only treatment available?"
No, of course not. I would ask everyone which treatment modality is heavily stigmatized, to the point of medical abandonment and abuse?
Almost every other pain treatment is socially acceptable, unless you are the dreaded opioid patient.
We are seeing the exact same trend with kratom. "You use gas-station heroin? You should go to rehab!"
We don't like to admit it, but if someone reveals that a socially stigmatized substance helps pain or other symptoms, they are automatically considered a terrible person.
That's the state of medicine today.

You know, a lot of you kratom advocates talked shit on Rx opioids, blamed MDs, & used the govt/lawfirm created Rx crisis to argue that ppl should have access to Kratom. If you want my help and the help of others that BENEFIT from rxs, you should be mindful of your narrative. @ibdgirl76
I don’t need to name names, but i WILL call you out for going to media and continuing to say you’re a survivor of the “overprescribing crisis”. Cause hey, maybe the issue with Kratom is that it’s too readily available! Hmm. Just saying, I don’t get paid to do this and I won’t help ppl that talk that bullshit.

It's the same old lies, over and over again; he's like a broken record that needs throwing out once and for all.
Who is the nutcase this gentleman is mocking. He sounds like a domineering and obsessive male that's deeply insecure therefore has to control his wife or partner. FFS women aren't personal property. A healthy relationship is based off trust, friendship and respect.
