It recently came to my attention that one of my undergraduate students had never heard of Elizabeth Taylor.
Over 25 years of teaching, it’s glaring how little “cultural literacy” today’s youth possess.
Most literary, musical, & cultural references are totally lost on them.

EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity.
