This week, I successfully defended my PhD thesis "Essays on the Impact of Behavioral Aspects and Education for #FinancialDevelopment" @HumboldtUni 🥂 Huge thanks to my committee @sardoschau, Lukas Menkhoff, Georg Weizsäcker, Tobias Gamp & to @DIW_GradCenter @BSE_Berlin #PhDone!

Happy about this recent policy publication in the journal of the German federal association for debt counselling (restricted access)!👇 @GrohmannAntonia & I summarised the findings of our working paper on the role of self-control and #financialliteracy for consumer debt-taking.

Still seems unreal: I submitted my PhD thesis for examination at @HumboldtUni last week (and just recovered sufficiently to tweet this). No more „Underfull \hbox (badness 10000“ LaTeX errors this year! 🥲 #phdchat

My first hybrid event today at @DIW_Berlin (worked very well) - with insightful talks by @burkhardbalz (@bundesbank) & @MartinTaborsky (@oenb) on economic and financial education in 🇩🇪 and 🇦🇹! #Finlit #HybridWork
