Get your Apple Reminders in Claude Code. RemCTL 2.1.0 now ships with a Claude Code plugin and mod, so you can always see what's left to do today, or in a specific list. There's even a sidebar! Get the update here: github.com/viticci/remctl @amorriscode
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

Can you, as a software engineer, whip out your phone, open some agent (Claude, Codex or whatever your company internally has) and ask it to do something that will involve - cloning repos - building/testing - raising PRs - accessing your JIRA/Notion/Linear - fetch required context from Slack At Meta for example this was technically possible. We can debate on effectiveness, efficiency, whether it was a good idea this was possible, and whether the number of people who worked on making this was a good investment of their time, but the point is it was possible. It is not a small investment. Do it poorly and soon you are spending $$$ more than LLMs in just spinning up VMs (RAM and SSD is costly!). These long running long paused sessions cannot remain always on VMs. Frequent pause-unpause of VM-like things in the cloud at 10s of thousands of employees scale is absolutely not trivial neither in cost, nor in orchestration. Any company that has not achieved this state, but their CEO/CTO has glimpsed this reality, will not stop till they reach here. It is a supremely empowering state. It comes with the usual risks of 'execs vibing slop into our codebase' but that's part of the journey. Most companies are far from the ideal state in having good agentic infra setup properly.

lots of folks have asked how i manage switching between 4 claude subs. github.com/realiti4/claude-s… i've got it set to auto-switch when the current session/week limit hits 80%.

I built the ultimate Apple Notes CLI. Apple never made a real API for Notes. So, I reverse-engineered one. NotesCTL covers ALL the features of the Notes app. NotesCTL can: - Create notes with support for every element. Tags, rich links, attachments, checklists, headings, tables, audio recordings, highlights, and more. Great for assembling deep research reports with agents! - Search and edit notes with the same queries and filters - Create native PencilKit drawings! This is fun. Have your agent turn SVGs into native drawings that you can then edit and color with the Apple Pencil. Great for kids, coloring books, or simple mockups - Support for Smart Folders, sub-folders, and pins - Transcribe audio recordings and extract Notes' transcriptions - Export everything with a customizable Markdown Exporter with template support NotesCTL is not another AppleScript wrapper: it aims to be the full Notes CLI Apple never made. I've genuinely had the best time using this with Codex, Codex Voice, Hermes Agent, and Claude Cowork over the past 2 months. NotesCTL is now in early testing for members of the Club MacStories Discord. You can join at $10 or $12/month here: macstories.net/plans/ Open-source next month.

Got tired of getting distracted when running AI agents, so I added this instruction to run confetti from @raycast whenever it finishes responding. Here's the prompt: "IMPORTANT: After each response is completed, run `open "raycast://extensions/raycast/raycast/confetti"`. This provides a clear signal that the work is done." πŸŽ‰

Neat trick! @dubdotco can be used as a simple views counter for your #GitHub projects Just open your README . md file, and use markdown syntax to render the image but use the dub . co link, eg: ![](https://dub .sh/mDncQnG) (ofc, the image will not render, but that's the point)

Always have a side hustle Primarily for skill diversification You’ll build expertise in areas that are usually transferable anywhere you go E.g. Writing books on the side will help you become a better communicator in your job

This is just insane… My GPT-4 coding assistant can now: - build and design a frontend - create a backend with working db - correctly hook them up - upload code to GitHub - deploy it to Vercel I can now build *complete* apps with nothing more than my voice. The future is here!
