try xcanme.com
A couple of months ago I saw this post from @0xCharlota.
She shared a breakdown of her audience and a few people in the replies mentioned they’d been wanting to do something similar.
So I built XcanMe.
Instead of setting up APIs, exporting data or prompting an LLM yourself, you just drop in any public handle and wait. It reads your followers one by one, classifies them by what they do, shows the large accounts following you, the companies, the countries, and gives you an Xcore.
You get some videos ready to post, and you can also compare your audience with other accounts that have already been scanned.
No login required*
Try it here: xcanme.com
ran an analysis of my X account this weekend:
14k followers, of those:
4,000 are designers
~1,000 are tech founders, entrepreneurs or ceos
a quarter have audiences of their own over 1,000
Multiple people who work at meta, ideo, shopify, microsoft, framer, webflow, google, stripe…
so when i post about design it lands in one of two places: with someone who might need design services, or with someone who designs for living.
the other number that i didn’t expect; 52k+ bookmarks, so one save for every three likes. great to hear that my content is interesting enough to return to, i guess?
but most surprising for me is that i’ve spent a long time thinking of this as a moderately small account, but the audience is quite dense!
anyone analysed their audience too?
what surprised you?
Really liked this design. Strongly inspired by it to redesign the large accounts section on xcanme.com.

We recently added /storage to the desktop app!
You can see how much disk space Claude is using on your computer and clear out inactive tasks and unused worktrees.

The coding interview is dead, at least for my team at Anthropic. I've seen enough to know that it no longer provides signal. I removed it from loops this month.
I have a spicy, optimistic take - I think there's an opportunity for junior engineers: felixrieseberg.com/hunger-be…

We launched OSS Scanner, which gives critical open source projects free, periodic vulnerability scans from our strongest models.
Each finding includes a proof-of-concept, and a patch where possible.

Sé que es polémico, pero si gracias a la IA no reducimos la jornada laboral a menos días, será una gran cagada.

We've been working hard on making the Claude Code desktop app great for running lots of sessions side by side.
It's now much quicker to start sessions, easier to split work across a few, and you can always see what each of them is doing. Here’s what's new:

New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control.
In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale.
Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

say it with me now. experts are fake, smart generalists rule the world, everything is designed by people no smarter than you, and courage is in shorter supply than genius

said that last year, saying it again.
vibes coding is a slur.
it’s clear we need to retire the term vibe coding because the models now produce better architecture & way more coherent code than an average software engineer.
perhaps even better than top software engineers too because unlike a human, ai has a much much larger context window.
this ain’t vibe coding at all. it’s precision engineering.
> posts regularly about how much money he makes with custom software
> launches new viral apps regularly
> Builds software daily with AI
> tells everyone software is dead
> keeps building software
Please stop taking these people seriously.

At this point I consider @Cloudflare to be a headless company.
I use it everyday (work + side projects) but I only very rarely use the UI. I used it today to store an API key and it felt odd.
Best tools are the ones I don't have to look at because they just work.
