A little bit of common sense posting since it seems to be rare in the world of the crypto casino hype.
If fault-tolerant, error-corrected quantum computers capable of breaking ECDSA existed today, crypto would not be the first or only place we noticed. That level of quantum compute would be a general scientific and industrial shock. You would expect visible progress in quantum chemistry, materials discovery, condensed matter physics, optimization, logistics, financial modeling, and parts of engineering where classical computation hits hard limits. The same machine that can run Shor’s algorithm at cryptographically relevant scale is not just a Bitcoin-key-cracking box. It is a new computational instrument.
Breaking ECDSA is not a cute demo. It requires large-scale, reliable logical qubits, long coherent computations, and serious error correction overhead. If someone had that, they would also have crossed the threshold into useful fault-tolerant quantum computing. That means they could simulate molecular systems better, search design spaces differently, analyze quantum materials, improve catalysts, batteries, superconductors, pharmaceuticals, and possibly accelerate work in areas where exact classical simulation is impossible or brutally expensive.
You would also expect markets to react. Not because every quantum application would instantly become profitable, but because investors price future capability. If credible, error-corrected quantum compute existed at the level needed to threaten ECDSA, it would imply new companies, new national-security programs, new supply chains, new patents, new lab results, and massive repricing of firms exposed to cryptography, materials, semiconductors, biotech, logistics, and finance. The stock market would not treat that as a footnote.
Instead, what we see is the opposite: impressive physics progress, noisy intermediate-scale devices, roadmaps, demos, and specialized experiments, but not the broad economic signature of cryptographically relevant quantum computing. We do not see public-key cryptography collapsing. We do not see sudden unexplained leaps in materials, drug discovery, industrial optimization, or financial strategy that would suggest someone has general fault-tolerant quantum capability.
So the crypto quantum panic is usually incoherent. People talk as if there will be a narrow event where Bitcoin or Ethereum suddenly becomes vulnerable, while the rest of civilization keeps running normally. That is not how it would look. The compute needed to break ECDSA is part of the same capability class that would unlock major advances across science and industry. If that capability were here, the world would be giving off much louder signals than "maybe your wallet is unsafe."
bro zachxbt is actually insane
this man went undercover as a money laundering client
spent $350K of his OWN money to gain the trust of a chinese launderer who was moving bybit hack funds for north korea
the guy started sharing everything. screenshots. wallet addresses. bridge transactions. in real time
zach was matching every single transaction on-chain as the guy was sending them
traced $12M+ across bitcoin, ethereum, solana, and tron
got tether to freeze $442K from the evidence alone
and the funniest part? in between discussing how to launder funds for north korea this guy was casually talking about playing mahjong and his weight loss plan 😭
bro thought he was talking to a client. he was talking to the most dangerous investigator in crypto
and zach funded this entire operation himself. $350K out of pocket. no guarantee he'd ever see it back
this is not the FBI. this is one guy with a laptop and a blockchain explorer
different breed

The median household income in Elkhorn, NE, is $131,199 a year. The median home value is $590,000. The median cost of daycare per child is $2,500 a month. (Everyone is free to look this all up.) So at 7.5% mortgage rates, the median income can’t afford the median house and can’t afford the median daycare. That is a problem. Yes, you can find cheaper homes. Yes, you can find cheaper daycare. That’s not the point. If the median can’t afford the median, it’s not sustainable, and something will give. Wages have to go up or home values have to go down or childcare has to get cheaper. It feels like we are on shaky ground.

NEAR has been executing at the intersection of crypto, agentic AI, and privacy with incredible traction.
Excited to launch the Bitwise NEAR ETF today, ticker $NRR.
Take a look —
The future is NEAR.
Introducing $NRR—the Bitwise NEAR ETF—giving investors exposure to the emerging agentic economy.
$NRR is the first spot $NEAR ETP in the U.S. and offers in-house staking to maximize NEAR's ~5% staking rewards.*
Why @NEARprotocol?
↳ Built at the intersection of AI x crypto by foundational AI researchers: The team helped shape modern AI, and now they're building its transaction layer.
↳ Growing quickly: NEAR Intents has processed $32B+ in volume, up from under $1B a year ago.
↳ Designed for security: NEAR Intents settle cross-chain transactions through smart contracts to avoid the potential risks of centralized bridges.
↳ Made for scale: Transactions finalize in ~1.2 seconds and cost a fraction of a cent.
↳ Smart tokenomics: With a ~$6B market cap, NEAR's supply is fully unlocked, inflation was recently halved to 2.5% per year, and fees now fund buybacks.
Why in-house staking?
Staking in-house brings Bitwise's institutional expertise directly to NRR investing with transparency, security, and oversight.
As AI and crypto converge, the Bitwise NEAR ETF ($NRR) gives investors straightforward exposure to the network leading the charge.

POV: It's 2003, and you've got the whole evening ahead of you.
AIM is open, Winamp is playing your favorite songs, and there's a stack of burned CDs on your desk.
Homework can wait. You're just hoping that one person signs on so you can talk for hours.
We didn't know it then, but those ordinary nights would become some of our favorite memories.

Here's some life-changing alpha to remember on the cusp of a bull market.
IF YOU MAKE HOUSE-LEVEL PROFITS THIS CYCLE, BUY A FUCKING HOUSE.
Take it from someone who has been through at least 4 cycles:
Life-changing alpha is to take profits off the table when you reasonably can and shove them straight into property.
I'm not saying you should dump your entire $pesto or $pistachio or $cyberdick portfolio into a mansion or a bunch of stupid properties that end up being a headache.
But if you make life-changing, wife-changing, house-changing gains...then shove part of that into a property asap to lock in the gains...and keep them.
This is especailly important if you don't own anything.
WHY?
Buying a house is the ultimate insurance against...yourself.
Because you lock capital into an asset you will likely hang onto.
If you take profits and keep them in stablecoins or something easy to grab for the "next amazing investment" that comes your way, that money will inevitably find its way back into the market.
And the market can, and probably will, eventually fuck you.
If you buy a property, it's such an ordeal to liquidate the property that money will likely STAY OUTSIDE OF THE MARKET, locked as an immovable asset.
Which is your safety net.
And if the market turns sour again, you won't regret owning something physical.
I guarantee it.
Yes, you can squeeze more yield by shoving that capital into an index fund, or buying blue-chip stocks, or buying treasuries.
But
If the market goes suddenly bad...
If another black swan event wipes you out...
If your guaranteed moon coin investment fails...
If you get drained or hacked...
If any number of things happen that could wipe your crypto assets to zero...
Buying a house means...
-You will always have a $ backup to fall on.
-You can live there.
-You can let your family live there.
-You can rent it out in a pinch.
The peace of mind that owning something brings will give you the peace of mind to make better trades. Worst case. you have something to fall back on.

Nico Williams's mother, Maria, walked nearly 2,000 miles while pregnant from Ghana towards Spain for a better life.
He grew up to assist the goal that won Spain the World Cup. Then, he gave his winner's medal to his mom.
