Host: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: In the '70s I was too young to get go to South America for the Jonestown massacre, so this is as close as I'll get. There's nothing like seeing a cult up close.
Host: Alright, maybe this is not a Trump supporter

everyone has "oh I'm not political" friends and family like this. Politics are disgusting and professing neutrality is how they think they stay clean. It's about as sneaky as a toddler with a full diaper partially hiding behind the drapes. "I didn't poop." Buddy...we have noses
Last month, Kirk Herbstreit said he doesn't follow politics or pick sides.
Which was nonsense. Just last week, Herbstreit quietly headlined a fundraising dinner for Alabama's second-biggest PAC.
The next day, it sent $155,000 to Tommy Tuberville.

Absolutely love this for Scott. No one is more deserving.
NEWS: @hasanthehun is suing @ScottJenningsKY for defamation in DC district court, over Jennings claim that Piker endorsed lynching.
Piker asking for $27.5m in compensatory damages, $45m in punitive damages.
Bad advice at the time and now catastrophic in hindsight.
Possibility?
National security officials have been secretly bracing for the possibility that Trump refuses to accept the midterm election results.

It sucks ass that this guy lost one primary, for a position he was supremely unqualified for, and now he's gonna be in our lives forever

Back at the time in March 2009, Mike Garcia wrote a letter to the UT Austin student newspaper explaining that it was the College Republicans that stopped participating in the tuition relief effort because they didn’t like who the Dems endorsed for Student Government President.
I've known @jamestalarico for nearly 20 years. When we were at @UTAustin in 2009, he ran the University Democrats and I ran the College Republicans. Although we disagreed, I once considered him a friend. But then he betrayed the entire student body for his own political gain.🧵

How does democracy function when one person can donate $150 million for 1 Senate race? In a state where one of his companies has major facilities?

Trump has always seen Putin as a friend and role model. This has been true for years.
So the real question is: Can you not see what Trump is?
HAYES: You really seem like you don't like the guy.
OSSSOFF: I don't like bigotry. I don't like the Klan. I don't like neo-nazis. I don't like sitting members of congress who allow neo-nazi propaganda to be produced from their house. I don't accept that a sitting member of congress should appoint people to leadership roles in his political organization, with documented ties to the Ku klux Klan. It's not just the folks around Mike Collins, it's Mike Collins himself.

"Frankly, this entire situation has been blown completely out of proportion."
"As far as I’m concerned, this matter is closed."
"It’s time to move on"
My final statement regarding the @JamesTalarico and @LindnerCtrHope situation:
I’ve made all the recordings publicly available on my 𝕏 account so everyone can listen and draw their own conclusions.
Frankly, this entire situation has been blown completely out of proportion.
Here are the facts: I contacted the medical facility after receiving a tip suggesting that Talarico might have been a patient there.
During that conversation, I pressed an employee for information, and the employee ultimately stated that Talarico had been discharged from the facility within the previous 24 hours.
Approximately 12 hours later, the Lindner Center issued an official statement contradicting what its employee had told me, denying that Talarico had ever been a patient at the facility.
That’s where the facts stand.
I reported what I was told, released the recordings in full, and acknowledged the facility’s subsequent denial.
I have no independently verified evidence establishing that Talarico was ever a patient there.
I’m not going to speculate beyond the information available or continue fueling a controversy based on an unverified claim.
As far as I’m concerned, this matter is closed.
It’s time to move on to more substantive issues facing voters.
From now until Election Day, my goal remains clear: to do everything within my ability, in whatever capacity possible, to help elect @KenPaxtonTX as the next United States Senator from the great state of Texas.
I think about this @chrislhayes tweet a lot.

You know how if a player is winded or something they'll raise their hand and motion to the sideline to be taken out? I'm doing that for the Kelly Clarkson bird incident. I need a breather and will see everyone next game.

One of the biggest problems with social media is that people can say utter horseshit like this, be proven to have utterly invented something, and then carry on as if nothing happened. Nobody loses a job, reputation, etc. Just fling poo, rally your moronic followers and move on. – at Gettysburg, PA
My sources are telling me Talarico is in a mental health facility. His campaign has stopped actively planning events in the vital homestretch of the campaign.
If this is true, this is actually a time to pray for Talarico. We should, of course, savagely mock his smug, awful campaign advisors, by all means...and while yes, of course, this would be disqualifying for Talarico's aspirations to be a Texas Senator, we must hold empathy for anyone undergoing crisis. Campaigns are brutal, and not everybody is cut out for it. You need very thick skin. As much as I don't want Talarico anywhere near government, I also don't want wish him harm, and no political office is worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something he isn't, and it didn't work.
I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's OK. You want to win these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health.
200k views, 13k likes in an hour. Pure made up nonsense. He'll never retract this, never issue an apology, just will go on about his day floating lies in the name of politics like it never happened. Terrible person. A cancer on society.

Hi sharks, I'm raising $1 trillion dollars for 25% of my company to hire 1.5 million people, buy 100,000 delivery trucks, buy and lease 500+ cargo jets, and then rebuild the most sophisticated logistics infrastructure ever created... all because I can't order toilet paper using AI.
