TIL that in the 2000s, the mayor of Bogotá fired the city's traffic cops and replaced them with mimes. Instead of fining people who committed infractions, the mimes would mock them.
It apparently worked. And somehow, no mimes were murdered.

This is how you have a safe indoor event right now. CO2 monitor that everyone can see, CR box(es), open windows, and most importantly, mandatory N95 usage by all participants with prohibition on any removal while indoors. Take note @Albertadoctors

I admit: I dismissed the seriousness of long covid because the way health experts and journalists described it made it seem livable.
“Fatigue” doesn’t cut it.
This is not a livable situation. Not being able to lift my hands anytime i want is not a life I’m used to.
A couple I know had Covid last month & "don't feel right." They are shocked Dr. told them he would test for blood clots & heart abnormalities. They had NO IDEA this was a post Covid thing. Thought long Covid was "coughing & fatigue."
THIS is what media has done.

18) not good - Denmark (where BA2 is most common) is seeing really bad hospitalization surges. Many even with boosters. BA2 could be quite evasive against past immunity I’m thinking as well as more contagious.
