The NBA Board of Governors has approved the sale of the Seattle Sonics to Clay Bennett’s Professional Basketball Club LLC. Despite rumors of relocation, Bennett says he plans on keeping the teams in Seattle if public funding for a new arena is provided.

The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources. Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources.
