Lyle's book, Ain't Got No Cigarettes, is a top tier read if you can find a copy.
The world lost #RogerMiller 34 years ago today, one of the most interesting and talented people to walk the planet. He wasn’t well documented when I became a huge fan so I spent years finding out as much as I could for a book I wrote, written under the concept of “Old Friends”.
Well said Lyle
It's been 14 years without the great Bill Dees, the most uniquely talented guy I ever knew. I miss him everyday, I've never known anyone that spontaneously creative or lived life in the manner he did. He was a true original. @ROYORBISON @JackPribek #BillDees #songwriter #RIP

The band Pavlov's Dog was unsettlingly unique. The first album, Pampered Menial, is unlike anything else. It's not just because of David Surkamp's voice and writing, there's a raw type of exploration going on that cuts deep.

resolute - A different type of resolution on the final clip from the full length video Velvet Dusk | Fallen Trees 39.
I got to know a guy in Monterey that had a guitar store: Seven Seas Guitars. He was real knowledgeable particularly about jazz guys. I was a big Roy Buchanan fan and asked his thoughts: "Roy was done by the time he was on Polydor. He peaked in the early 60s." I asked him about the Alligator stuff, "Mostly unlistenable." Anyway, this record is glorious rawness and some of what the guy was referring to.
