Casual 300 pound clean by senior @JacksonRslaught. Last year's National champion in the @USWeightlifting Youth 102kg category is shaking off the rust after football season and looking strong.

FHS Weightlifting continues to reach for new heights. Can't wait for the @USWeightlifting Youth Nationals this summer.
Not bad for the only high school weightlifting club in the state of Texas.

FHS congratulated 16 mustang athletes for qualifying for the USA Weightlifting National Championships this June in Pittsburgh, PA. We now have 20 total athletes who have qualified for Nationals. Way to Coach Taylor & our mustang weightlifters! #MustangBluePrint @fhsmustangs

SOME HUGE squats by the @FwoodFootball. Only the 3rd time our juniors have performed a 1RM back squat in their 3 years with me. Their average squat today was 1.9xBW. YOU DONT HAVE TO 1RM TO TO GET STRONG.
53 tested
Average back squat 1RM = 342 (1.76 x BW)
10 over 2x BW
17 over 1.9x BW
25 over 1.8x BW
