Companion came out 18 days ago. The shrinking gap between movies playing in theaters to being available at home is gonna be what ends up killing theaters. For big studio movies like this it should be a minimum of 90 days.
Experience a new kind of love story when COMPANION hits Digital tomorrow. The sci-fi horror thriller will be released on physical media April 11.

Let’s also not forget that Psycho and Peeping Tom were some of the first American horror films to make a psychotically deranged human the antagonist, I always credit them and Texas Chainsaw Massacre as the first slasher films.
Black Christmas (1974) invented the slasher four years before Halloween.

For every movie that “invented the slasher flick,” there was one a few years prior you could say the same about. In reality, slashers were the result of compounding influential German Krimi, Italian Giallo & American psychological thrillers—all ultimately synthesized in Halloween

Clayface absolutely rules. Tom Rhys Harries is effortlessly charming and his descent into villainy is as entertaining as it is tragic. Some surprisingly harsh violence and genuinely nightmarish body horror visuals throughout. Watkins and Flanagan delivered! #ClayfaceMovie

Started watching The Rehearsal, Nathan Fielder would undergo Cold War era psychological torture to commit to the bit.

Still reeling from The Devils, wow. Blasphemous, provocative and a sight to behold! I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen and feel like I’m going to hell for watching it. Glad to see it get a second week in theaters. If you’re into intense nunsploitation 70s cinema, go see it!

I've been enjoying testing out games during Steam Next Fest. That being said, indie devs, stop using AI. I skipped every demo that used AI. The joy of indie gaming to me is that a team of people WANTED to make a game. Using AI art just makes it feel like a cheap money grab.

Really disheartening, amidst CLAYFACE Embargo-Gate, to see people calling for a journalist's access to be revoked when we should be questioning why the PUBLIC is able to see and ostensibly discuss the movie before the embargo has lifted.

Watched a 3-hour documentary in a packed theater this weekend. Didn't see a single phone, everyone was SO locked in, big reactions at the intended moments. Will be rooting for YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING for a multitude of reasons this season, but that communal viewing experience was a dream.
