Raidurg Rewrites the Record Books: Plot P1 sells for Staggering INR 264 Crores per Acre, Hyderabad’s Highest Ever The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) has achieved a strong outcome through its e-auction of Plot No. P1 in Raidurg, generating INR 1,386 Crores from 5.25 acres of prime multi-use land. The result underscores Hyderabad's emergence as one of India's most dynamic real estate markets and confirmsTelangana's strategic approach to infrastructure-led growth. 
Plot No. P1 (5.25 acres) was auctioned against a reserve price of INR 175 Crore per acre, achieving a final realization of INR 264 Crores per acre—a 50.9% premium over the reserve price. This outcome reflects the intensifying competition among premier developers and the market's increasingly bullish outlook on Hyderabad's strategic corridors, confirming Telangana's position as a high-growth destination for institutional real estate capital.   The result marks a sharp escalation in Raidurg land values. TGIIC's earlier auction fetched INR 237 Crore per acre in May 2026, a figure Plot P1 has now surpassed at INR 264 Crore per acre in August 2026, underscoring the sustained intensity of investor demand for the corridor's premium plots.

నిజాం నవాబును ఎదురించిన వీరవనిత. గద్వాల సంస్థానాన్ని స్వతంత్ర సంస్థానంగా ప్రకటించి పాలించిన మహారాణి. నిజాం ప్రభువుల నుంచి పతనమైన తన రాజ్యాన్ని పునరుద్ధరించుకున్న వీరవనిత మహారాణి ఆది లక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ గారి వర్ధంతి జ్ఞాపకం గద్వాల సంస్థానంలో సాహితి పోషకులలో చెప్పకోదగ్గ రాజు శ్రీ మహారాజా సీతారామభూపాలుడు 1924లో స్వర్గస్తు లైనారు. తరువాత పాలన బాధ్యతలు శ్రీ మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మి దేవమ్మ 1929లో చేపట్టారు. 1949లో జాగీరుల రద్దుతో రాణి పాలన ముగిసంది. ఆమె చేసిన 25సంవత్సరాల పాలనలో ఎ న్నో విజయాలు. మన్ననలను, ప్రశంసలను రాణి అందు కున్నారు. 25సంవత్సరాల రాణి పాలనను గద్వాల చరిత్రలో సువర్ణక్షరాలతో లిఖించదగ్గదిగా ఇప్పటికీ చెప్పుకుంటారు. పూడూరును చాళుక్యులు పరిపాలించగా, చాళుక్యులకు, పల్లవులకు మధ్య జరిగిన యుద్ధంలో పెదసోమభూపాలుడు గదను, వాలమును ప్రయోగించడం వలన ఈ కోటకు "గదవాల (గద్వాల)" అనే పేరు వచ్చిందని చెబుతారు. ఈ విధంగా 1663 నుండి 1950 వరకు గద్వాల సంస్థానాధీశులచే పరిపాలింపబడింది. రాజాభరణాల రద్దు తరువాత ఈ కోటను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం స్వాధీనం చేసుకొని, గద్వాల, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం, జోగులాంబ గద్వాల జిల్లా, గద్వాల మండలానికి చెందిన పట్టణం. ఇది జోగులాంబ గద్వాల జిల్లాకు పరిపాలనా కేంద్రం. మండలానికి, గద్వాల అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గానికి కేంద్రంగా కూడా ఉంది గద్వాల సంస్థానం తుంగభద్ర, కృష్ణానదుల మధ్య ప్రాంతంలో నడిగడ్డగా పిలిచే ప్రాంతంలో 800 చదరపు కిలోమీటర్ల విస్తీర్ణంలో ఉండేది. 14వ శతాబ్దంలో కాకతీయ సామ్రాజ్యం పతనం తర్వాత గద్వాల సంస్థానాధీశులు బహుమనీ సామ్రాజ్యం సామంతులుగా ఉన్నారు. 1663లో రాజా పెదసోమభూపాలుడితో ప్రారంభమైన గద్వాల సంస్థాన పాలన విలీనమయ్యే వరకు కొనసాగింది. 1704లో నాడగౌడుగా ఉన్న సోమన్న కృష్ణానది తీరన గద్వాల కోటను నిర్మించారు. రాజ్యాన్ని బనగానపల్లె, ఆదోని, సిరివెల్ల, నంద్యాల, ఆత్మకూరు, అహోబిలం ప్రాంతాలకు విస్తరించారు. 1909 వరకు గద్వాల సంస్థానాధీశులు సొంత నాణేలను ముద్రించుకున్నారు. ఈ సంస్థానంలో 11 మంది రాజులు, 9 మంది రాణులు పాలించారు. చివరగా మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ గారు 1924 నుంచి సంస్థానాలు భారతదేశంలో విలీనమయ్యే వరకు మహారాణిగా కొనసాగారు. గద్వాల సంస్థాన వారసుడైన కృష్ణ రాంభూపాల్‌రెడ్డి 1962లో రాష్ట్రలో జరిగిన ఎన్నికల్లో ఏకగ్రీవంగా అసెంబ్లీకి ఎన్నికయ్యారు. గద్వాల్ కోట ఒక అద్భుతమైన కట్టడం, దీని చుట్టూ పాత పట్టణం విస్తరించి ఉంది. కోటలో అనేక పురాతన దేవాలయాలు ఉన్నాయి, వాటిలో ముఖ్యమైనది శ్రీ చెన్నకేశవ స్వామి. జమ్ములమ్మ అనే మరొక ప్రసిద్ధ దేవాలయం పట్టణానికి పశ్చిమాన ఉంది. మహారాణి ఆది లక్ష్మి దేవమ్మ మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లా లోని ఒకనాటి గద్వాల సంస్థానాన్ని పాలించిన మహారాణి. రాజా చిన సీతారామభూపాలుని భార్య. ఆయన అనంతరం పాలనచేశారు. 1946 నుండి 1949 వరకు పాలించారు. ఆమె ఈ సంస్థానపు చివరి పాలకురాలు కూడా. నిజాం నవాబును ఎదురించిన వీరవనిత. గద్వాల సంస్థానాన్ని స్వతంత్ర సంస్థానంగా ప్రకటించి పాలించించారు. సీతారామభూపాలునికి సంతానం లేకపోవడంచే నిజాం నవాబు మిర్ ఉస్మాన్ అలీఖాన్ తమ రాజ్యంలో గద్వాల సంస్థానాన్ని కలుపుకుంటే, రాణి న్యాయపోరాటం చేసి సంస్థానాన్ని తిరిగి చేజిక్కించుకున్నారు. సాహితి సేవా..... శ్రీ మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మీ దేవమ్మ పాలనలో చేసినా సాహితిసేవను గద్వాల చరిత్రలో సువర్ణక్షరాలతో లి ఖించదగినది. రాణి పాలనలో వెలుగులోకి వచ్చిన సాహితి సేవలు ఎవరి పాలనలో వెలుగులోకి రాలేదు. ప్ర తి సంవత్సరం కార్తీక మాఘ శుద్ధ పౌర్ణమి నాడు కవి పం డితులను ఆదరించి వారిని సన్మానించి వారి పాదదూళిని సింధూరంగా భావించి నుదుటన పెట్టుకునే వారట. అలాగే ప్రతి మాఘపౌర్ణమి నాడు చెన్నకేశవ స్వామి రథో త్సవం సందర్భంగా దక్షిణ భారత దేశము నుంచి కళా కారులను ఆహ్వానించి సన్మానించేవారు. నాడు సన్మానం పొందిన వారిలో తిరుపతి వెంకటకవులు కూడా ఉన్నారు. ఆంధ్రదేశంలో గద్వాలలో సన్మానం పొందుట తమ విద్య కు పరిపూర్ణత లభించినట్లేనని కవులు భావించేవారు. అందుకే రాణి పాలనలో గద్వాలను విద్వద్గద్వాలగా కీర్తి సంతరిం చుకుంది. సంస్థానంలో సంప్రదాయంగా వస్తున్న సాహిత్య పోషణను కొనసాగిస్తూ, ఎందరో కవులను ఆదరించి గద్వాలకు విద్వద్గద్వాలగా కీర్తి రావడానికి కారకులయ్యారు. ఎంతోమంది కవుల పుస్తకాలను ముద్రింపజేశారు. 1949 లో సంస్థానాల, జాగీర్ధారుల పాలనలు రద్దు కావటంతో రాణి సంస్థానపు ఆస్తులను, చారిత్రాత్మక గద్వాల కోటను ప్రభుత్వ పరం చేశారు. 1663లో రాజా పెద సోమభూపాలుడి పాలనతో ప్రారంభమైన గద్వాల సంస్థానపు పాలన 1949లో మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ పాలనతో ముగిసింది. ఆమె పేరు మీదుగా గద్వాల కోటలో మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఇది మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లాలో ఏర్పాటైన మొదటి డిగ్రీ కళాశాల. స్వాత్రంత్యానికి పూర్వం ఉమ్మడి మహబూబ్‌నగర్‌ జిల్లాలోని 16 సంస్థానాలు ఉండేవి. అందులో ముఖ్యమైనవి వనపర్తి, గద్వాల, కొల్లాపూర్‌, అమరచింత సంస్థానాలు. 1947 ఆగస్టు 15న దేశానికి స్వాతంత్య్రం వచ్చినప్పటికీ.. నిజాం పాలనలో ఉన్న హైదరాబాద్‌ రాష్ట్రం భారత యూనియన్‌లో విలీనం కాలేదు. కేంద్రప్రభుత్వం ‘ఆపరేషన పోలో’తో సైనిక చర్యకు దిగడంతో 1948 సెప్టెంబర్‌ 17న విలీనం కావడంతో ఈ ప్రాంతానికి స్వాతంత్య్రం సిద్ధించింది. దీంతో సంస్థానాలన్నీ పోయి ప్రజాస్వామ్య పాలన ఏర్పడింది. అప్పటి వరకు సంస్థానాధీశులుగా కొనసాగిన వారిలో కొంతమంది ప్రజాస్వామ్య పద్ధతిలో జరిగిన ఎన్నికల్లోనూ నిలబడి గెలిచారు. ప్రస్తుతం రాజవంశాలకు చెందిర వారు క్రీయాశీలక రాజకీయాలకు దూరంగా ఉంటున్నారు. * గద్వాల సంస్థానంను పాలించిన రాజులు.... బుడ్డారెడ్డి గద్వాల సంస్థానానికు మూలపురుషుడు. మొత్తం 11 రాజులు, 9 రాణులు ఈ సంస్థానాన్ని పాలించారు. వీరిలో ముఖ్యులు. 1) రాజ శోభనాద్రి 2) రాణి లింగమ్మ (1712 - 1723) 3) రాణి అమ్మక్కమ్మ (1723 - 1724 ) 4) రాణి లింగమ్మ ( 1724 - 1738 ) 5) రాజా తిరుమలరావు 6) రాణి మంగమ్మ ( 1742 - 1743) 7) రాణి చొక్కమ్మ ( 1743 - 1747 ) 8) రాజా రామారావు 9) రాజా చిన్నసోమభూపాలుడు 10) రాజా చిన్నరామభూపాలుడు 11) రాజా సీతారాం భూపాలుడు 12) రాణి లింగమ్మ (1840 - 1841 ) 13) రాజా సోమభూపాలుడు 14) రాణి వెంకటలక్ష్మమ్మ 15) రాజారాంభూపాలుడు 16) రాణి లక్ష్మీదేవమ్మ 17) మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ ( 1924 - 1949 ) * సంస్థానం గుండా యూనియన్ దళాలకు ప్రవేశం... మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ గారు 1947లో భారత స్వాతంత్ర్యానంతరం నిజాం నవాబును ఎదిరించిన సాహసి. 1948లో భారత యూనియన్ దళాలు హైదరాబాదుపై పోలీస్ చర్య తీసుకొనే సమయంలో కర్నూలు మీదుగా హైదరాబాదుకు వెళ్ళడానికి తన సంస్థానం గుండా యూనియన్ దళాలకు ప్రవేశం కల్పించింది తన దేశభక్తిని చాటుకున్నారు. 1948 సెప్టెంబరులో హైదరాబాదు సంస్థానం భారత యూనియన్‌లో విలీనమైన పిదప తన సంస్థాన ఆస్తులను, తెలంగాణలోనే ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన గద్వాల మట్టికోటను ప్రభుత్వానికి ధారాదత్తం చేసింది. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ కోటలోనే జూనియర్ కళాశాల, డిగ్రీ కళాశాల, పిజి సెంటర్, దేవాలయం ఉన్నాయి. డిగ్రీ కళాశాలకు ఈమె పేరిట మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మి దేవమ్మ (మాల్డ్) డిగ్రీ కళాశాలగా పిలుస్తున్నారు. * గద్వాల చీరలకు పునాదివేసారు మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మి దేవమ్మ గారు. గద్వాలనుండి కొన్ని కుటుంబాలను బెనారస్ పంపించి అక్కడ నేతపని శిక్షణ ఇప్పించి దానిలో కూడా గద్వాల ప్రత్యేక అంచుని తయారుచేయడానికి బాటవేసింది రాణీ గారు.గద్వాల చీరకు అంత సొగసు పాపులారిటి ఎలా వచ్చింది అన్న ప్రశ్నకు రాణి గారికి వచ్చిన అలోచన కొత్తగా పట్టు+కాటన్ కలగలిపి చీరలు నేస్తే ఎలాగుంటుందన్న అదే విషయాన్ని కంచి, బెనారస్ లోశిక్షణ తీసుకొచ్చిన 12 మంది చేనేతలతో మాట్లాడారు.కోటగుమ్మం డిజైన్ గద్వాలకు చిహ్నంగా కనిపిస్తుంది.ఈ ఆలోచన ఆదిలక్ష్మిదేవమ్మ గారిదే. * గద్వాల చీరల్లో మాత్రమే ఎందుకుంది ? చీరలు ఎందుకింత పాపులరైంది ? ఎందుకంటే రెండు రకాల వస్త్రాలను మిశ్రమంచేసి గద్వాలలో చీరలను నేస్తారు కాబట్టే. ఇంకా స్పష్టంగా చెప్పాలంటే ప్రతిచీరకు బార్డర్ తో పాటు పల్లు అంటే కొంగు ఉంటుందని అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. మామూలుగా ఏ ప్రాంతంలో చీరలు నేసినా పూర్తి కాటన్ లేదా పట్టు లేదా ఏదో ఒకరకమైన బట్టతో మాత్రమే తయారవుతాయి.కాని గద్వాలలో మాత్రం బార్డర్, కొంగును పట్టుతోను మధ్యలోని చీరమొత్తాన్ని కాటన్ తో నేస్తారు.పట్టు+కాటన్ మిశ్రమంతో చీరలు నేస్తారు కాబట్టే దేశం మొత్తంమీద గద్వాల చీరలు ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకంగా నిలుస్తున్నాయి. కాటన్+పట్టుతో కలిపి చీరను నేసే ప్రక్రియ దేశంలో గద్వాలలో తప్ప ఇంకెక్కడాకనబడదు. అందుకనే గద్వాల పట్టుచీరలు ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకం.1946 ప్రాంతంలో హైదరాబాద్ లోని అబిడ్స్ లో గద్వాల చీరల కోసమే మహారాణి ప్రత్యేకంగా షోరూమ్ ను ఏర్పాటు చేసారు. భర్త సీతారాంభూపాలుడి ద్వారానే అప్పటిదాకా అన్ని విద్యలలో ముందున్న గద్వాల "విద్వద్ గద్వాల"గా విద్యావంతులకు పండితులకు నిలయంగా మారాయి.ఆ విద్యలలో చేనేతలను పుట్టించి,ప్రోత్సహించిన గొప్ప కళా పోషకురాలు గద్వాల మహారాణి గారు. 1663లో మహారాజా పెద్దసోమభూపాలుని పాలనతో ప్రారంభమైన గద్వాల సంస్థానం 1949లో శ్రీ మహారాణి ఆదిలక్ష్మీ దేవమ్మ పాలనతో అంతమైంది. 1949లో జాగీరుల రద్దు తో రాజుల పాలనకు తెరపడింది. మూడు సంవత్సరాలు ప్రభు త్వ పాలనను చూసిన ఆమె 18-8-1953న దివంగతులైనారు. 25సంవత్సరాలు సాగిన రాణిగారి పాలనను ఇప్పటికీ ఎవ రు మరచిపోలేదు. కాని రాణి సేవలు, త్యాగాలు, గొప్పతనం ఎంతమందికి గుర్తుకు ఉందన్నది ప్రశ్నార్థకం. * శ్రీవారికి ఏరువాడ జోడు పంచెలు.... బహుమానంగా పంపటం కూడా మహారాణి హయాంలోనే మొదలైందన్నారు. తిరుమల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలకు ముందు వెంకటేశ్వరస్వామికి గద్వాల నుండి పట్టుతో నేసిన జోడు పంచెలు బహుమానంగా వెళ్ళటం దశాబ్దాలుగా ఆనవాయితీగా ఉన్నది. జోడు పంచెలను తయారుచేసే చేనేతలు ప్రత్యేకంగా దీక్ష తీసుకుని 41 రోజుల పాటు ప్రత్యేకమైన మగ్గంలోనే నేస్థారు. శ్రీవారికి నేసే జోడు పంచెల మగ్గాన్ని ఏడాది మొత్తం మీద దేనికీ వాడ కుండా ఉంచుతారు.మహారాణి వారసులు కొడుకు, కోడలు లతా భూపాల్ నేటికీ ప్రతి ఏడాది గద్వాల నుండి జోడు పంచెలను నేయించి ప్రత్యేకంగా తిరుమలకు పంపుతూ సంప్రదాయాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. #Gadwal #MaharaniAdilakshmiDevamma #GadwalSamsthanam #GadwalHeritage #TelanganaHistory #TelanganaHeritage #VeeraVanitha #WomenInHistory #WomenOfCourage #GadwalFort #GadwalSarees #GadwalHandloom #GadwalSilkSarees #TelanganaHandlooms #HandloomHeritage #IndianHandlooms #WeaversOfGadwal #VidwatGadwal #LiteraryHeritage #TelanganaCulture #TelanganaPride #IndianHeritage #CulturalHeritage #HeritageOfTelangana #GadwalHistory #MaharaniAdilakshmiDevamma #RememberingMaharani #Tribute #TirumalaTradition #JoduPanchelu #HandloomTradition

A Helping Hand Gives a New Life to Baby Jaswika Sri For a family in Khammam, what began as the joy of welcoming a newborn soon turned into a painful struggle for their little daughter’s life. On May 9, 2026, Kampati Rakesh and Madhavi were blessed with a baby girl. Just 12 days later, they learned that their newborn was suffering from a serious heart condition and needed an expensive surgery. Unable to bear the financial burden of the treatment, the family was left anxious and helpless. The baby’s grandmother, Narasamma, who works in sanitation services at the Khammam Municipal Corporation, brought the child’s condition to the attention of Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Augustya. Moved by the family’s plight, the @MC_Khammam @_augustya responded immediately. He coordinated with the Hridaya charitable organisation and the government authorities and facilitated financial assistance of Rs. 14 lakh for the baby’s heart surgery. The support came as a ray of hope for the family. On July 28, the baby successfully underwent heart surgery and is now recovering well. With gratitude for the timely intervention that helped save their daughter’s life, Rakesh and Madhavi brought their baby to the Municipal Commissioner’s office during the grievance programme. They thanked Commissioner Abhishek Augustya for standing by them during one of the most difficult moments of their lives. As a gesture of affection and gratitude, the family requested the Commissioner to name their daughter after him. Accepting their request with happiness, Commissioner Abhishek Augustya named the baby “Jaswika Sri.” The moment was more than a naming ceremony. It reflected how timely intervention, compassion and a willingness to help can bring hope to a family in distress. The Telangana Government has decided to merge the Food Safety Department and Drugs Control Department under a unified administration called TG SAFE – Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs.

Avinash Mohanty, IPS (2005), who was earlier posted as Director General, Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, has been posted as Commissioner, Telangana SAFE (Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs), in addition to his normal duties.

Telangana Government has further increased the upper age limit by 2 years for direct recruitment to various uniformed posts in Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force departments. This is in addition to the earlier 5-year age relaxation issued through G.O.Ms.No.87 dated 18 May 2026.
