A mum’s comment in 2015 on the news report:
“It was the strangest culture. They hid the fact they had concussions because they'd be told they couldn't play. It seemed to be a badge of honour to play, no matter how injured you were.”
Let’s hope Rowan’s legacy has changed this.
The tragic story behind Ontario’s Rowan’s Law Day
‘The inquest into her death heard from friend Michelle Herbert that Rowan, despite suffering headaches and fatigue, texted her that she was going to play because "nothing would stop me unless I'm dead."’

UEFA just issued a statement saying, "According to reports we received from the team doctor, it seems a loss of consciousness did not occur."

So far in the EURO2020 we have seen the very best of pitch side First Aid/Pre-Hospital Emergency Care with Christian Eriksen...as well as the absolute worst with Benjamen Pavard.

If you go into cardiac arrest, without a defibrillator, you have a 7% chance of survival. If a defibrillator is on the patient within 3 mins, the chances of survival is over 70%.
Every school, university, workplace, recreational place should have one. They should be everywhere.
